Political Firings

Let's see. When he became president, Bill Clinton fired all of the US Attorneys, reappointed those he liked and political supporters for the rest. No problem.

Well into his presidency, George Bush fired a few US Attorneys. The firestorm and investigations still haven't stopped.

Now comes this:

What's behind Obama's sudden attempt to fire the AmeriCorps inspector general?

Important to read, as this will also be "no problem" for most of the media.

  1. Shoot, it will be amazing if anyone in the media even hears about it. It's not like any Republican is gonna raise a stink.

Kind of reminds me of the time Clinton, surrounded by tittering, glowing feminists, signed the bill making it law that men charged in sexual harassment cases can be questioned about their past sexual actions. Guess he didn't think HE'D have to follow that silly law, huh?

Maybe this will work out similarly?

Oh, no. The MSM loved Bill Clinton, but they didn't quite worship him. And they never commented that their job was to make his presidency a success (wasn't that what Chris Matthews said about The O?).

  2. Once again, it's not who is fired but who is doing the firing.

What is worse? Obama firing this IG without reason or the media allowing him to get away with it? Not that it's a real surprise. We knew what to expect from both once Obama was elected.
