Why Obama Wanted The Russians To Hack The Election. How the two deep state intel operations fit together. By Daniel Greenfield
Pres. Obama's weak rebuke of Putin and timid retaliation for meddling in our election was after the fact of the election which, to his dismay and intention, Clinton did not win.
https://youtu.be/Z5Z1WN_aaRw?t=22. This self-serving interview was a coverup of the fact that his administration was well aware of the hacking and trolling but did nothing to stop it in the expectation of a Clinton victory. Reacting deftly to this "tragedy," Russian meddling was a convenient cudgel for Obama's praetorian guard to discredit and undermine Trump's presidency and to neuter the Republican Congress. In fact, by ignoring all of this activity until after the election, the players were in already place. Having finished their whitewash of Clinton's transgressions, they could now work diligently on Trump's destruction. Brennan, Clapper, Rice and the whole inner circle were at the heart of this this, with who know how many minions (but we are learning). There is no plausible deniability for Obama. There was no way he could not have known about the workings of his security stooges. He was in fact the puppeteer of the whitewash that has turned into the ongoing witch hunt. Yours truly, Larry Greenberg

Who’s Responsible for Separating Alien Kids From Their Parents? Many People, but Not Trump
Excerpt: In 1997, the Clinton administration entered into a settlement agreement in Flores v. Reno, a lawsuit filed in federal court in California by pro-illegal immigration advocacy groups challenging the detention of juvenile aliens taken into custody by the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The Clinton administration agreed to settle this litigation despite the fact the Supreme Court had upheld the Immigration and Naturalization Service regulation that provided for the release of minors only to their parents, close relatives, or legal guardians. According to the Department of Homeland Security, the Flores agreement allows the agency to detain unaccompanied minors for only “20 days before releasing them to the Department of Health and Human Services which places the minors in foster or shelter situations until they locate a sponsor. But in a controversial decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, the most liberal in the country, has interpreted the settlement agreement to apply to “both minors who are accompanied and unaccompanied by their parents.” In other words, it is the 9th Circuit’s misinterpretation of the Clinton administration’s settlement agreement that doesn’t allow juvenile aliens to stay with their parents who have been detained for unlawful entry into the country. ... The Obama administration provided a huge incentive for illegal aliens to smuggle children across the border, since a child acted as a get-out-of-jail-free card for avoiding detention and prosecution for the adult accompanying the child. As the Department of Homeland Security correctly says, this policy “incited smugglers to place children into the hands of adult strangers so they can pose as families and be released from immigration custody after crossing the border, creating another safety issue for these children.” In 2013, a federal judge issued a searing indictment of the Obama administration’s policy of reuniting children with their illegal alien parents in the U.S. who had paid human traffickers to smuggle the children into the U.S. and taking no action against the parents. As Judge Andrew Hanen said in a case against a human trafficker who was caught with a 10-year-old girl, the administration’s policy was to complete “the criminal mission of individuals who are violating the border security of the United States.” He called the policy “dangerous and unconscionable” because it encourages illegal aliens to place their “minor children in perilous situations subject to the whims of evil individuals.”

Miami-Dade homeowner says he found burglar in home after cops cleared scene. Resident says officers called to his home 3 times Thursday, but showed up twice.
Excerpt: The homeowner said he had to call police 1 1/2 hours later when he found the burglar had not only taken a pair of his shorts, but had left behind pants, a cellphone and a wallet. But detectives never came to get those items until after Local 10 News reporter Ian Margol showed up four days later.

Police seize thousands in Hamas cash from family of dead terrorist who killed 8. Cops confiscate money from East Jerusalem home of Alaa Abu Dheim, who killed students in a terror attack at Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav yeshiva in 2008.
Excerpt: Police seized tens of thousands of shekels from the family of an East Jerusalem terrorist on Wednesday, which cops said was paid as a stipend by the Hamas terror group. The NIS 43,000 ($11,800) in Israeli and foreign currency had been given to the family of Alaa Abu Dheim, who in 2008 shot dead eight Israeli students, aged 15-26, in Jerusalem’s Mercaz Harav yeshiva and wounded 11 more.

The myth of Obama’s ‘disappearance’
Excerpt: ... Obama is doing far more to shape the political landscape than is visible. In fact, for an ex-prez, he’s taking an unusually active role in politics, including helping radical protest groups fight Trump and his policies and devising a scheme to flip the GOP majority in the House and permanently turn red seats blue. From his sprawling DC office not far from the White House, where he oversees a full-time staff of 20, Obama has held regular meetings with Democratic lawmakers, as well as DNC chief Tom Perez, whom he personally helped install to run the Democratic Party. Obama has also met with his attorney general, Eric Holder, to craft a strategy to redraw congressional district maps in Democrats’ favor, according to Politico. Holder now runs the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which Obama helped his old friend launch. (Not "former" attorney general? Holder needs to answer for Fast and Furious and Obama for....well, 8 years of hell. Needs to open his records not just say stored electronically. Should never have been allowed to run for office without vetting. --Barb)

Now Even Swedes Are Questioning the Welfare State
Excerpt: Paying some of the world’s highest income-tax rates has been the cornerstone of Scandinavia’s social contract, with the political consensus in Sweden to save money for when the economy is less healthy. Yet the country is showing strains all too familiar in other parts of Europe with nationalists gaining support and Swedes increasingly questioning the sustainability of their fabled cradle-to-grave welfare system. Resentment has built over the influx of more than 600,000 immigrants over the past five years, many from war-ravaged countries like Afghanistan and Syria, a huge number for a country of 10 million people.

California's Costly Global Warming Campaign Turns Out To Be Worse Than Useless
Excerpt: Back in 2007, California became the first state to cap CO2 emissions when then-Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed AB32, which mandated the state cut greenhouse gas emissions back to 1990 levels by 2020. Schwarzenegger called it "a bold new era of environmental protection." Not to be outdone, Gov. Jerry Brown signed a bill last year requiring the state to cut emissions 40% below 1990 levels by 2030. So, what happened? From 2007 to 2015, California managed to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 9%. But the rest of the country cut them by more than 10%, according to a new report from the Center for Demographics and Policy at Chapman University in Orange, California. On a per capita basis, 41 states outperformed California on CO2 cuts over those same years. Here's another way to look at it. Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, and Pennsylvania have about the same combined population as California. But these states saw emission reductions five times as great as California. (To be fair, California started from a lower base.) (Yes, that sad collision of reality with fantasy comes around again. But none of the facts will slow down the parade of self satisfied correctness in the CA government, and the citizens will continue to pay the price. --Del)

Yet Another Case of a Convicted Harasser Legally Purchasing a Gun. By JIM GERAGHTY
Excerpt: In the case of this shooter, it was a longstanding grudge against the paper, stemming from a 2011 article about a criminal harassment case against him. The gunman filed a defamation suit against the paper and lost, and apparently his obsessive hatred only grew. On his Twitter account, he said he was “making corpses of corrupt careers and corporate entities.” The staff of the Capital Gazette somehow managed to put out a newspaper the afternoon and evening after being the target of a mass shooting. God bless everybody over there: ... In one of the stomach-turning ironies, no one involved in the original article about the gunman is still with the newspaper. ... The shooter pled guilty to harassment, which is a misdemeanor, with a maximum sentence of 90 days. Maryland law has a lot of restrictions on who can purchase a gun, including anyone convicted of a crime of violence, convicted of a felony, or who has been “convicted of any Maryland-classified misdemeanor that carries a statutory penalty of more than two years.” Had the shooter been convicted of stalking instead of harassment, it’s possible yesterday’s events would have turned out differently.

Excerpt: Harley said it would move production of motorcycles bound for Europe overseas, blaming European Union tariffs it said would add an estimated $2,200 cost to the average bike. Report: Awan Brother Suspected of Stealing $120,000 in Equipment from Democrat Rep.
Excerpt: Abid Awan — the Pakistani IT administrator accused of improperly accessing Congressional computer networks with brothers Imran and Jamal — is suspected of stealing thousands of dollars worth of equipment from a Democrat House member. According to documents, Wendy Anderson, New York Democrat Rep. Yvette Clarke’s deputy chief of staff, discovered Abid Awan in December 2015 digging through the lawmaker’s office “with new iPods and other equipment strewn around the room.” The aide immediately ordered Awan to leave the lawmaker’s office and would later tell investigators she believed the IT worker and Clarke’s chief of staff, Shelley Davis, plotted the heist together. In February 2016 — six months later after admitting her office could not account for $120,000 worth of equipment — the Congressional Black Caucus member terminated Abid Awan.

Experiment in reversing ethnic norms
Evergreen College has become infamous the past year. The school was dedicated to "social justice", indoctrination a few years ago, and has steadily slid downhill since. They started with a "Day of Absence" thing a couple of years ago with students of color encouraged to stay home for a day to demonstrate their importance to the college. But then they went to a "Day of Presence" which meant all Whites, students and teachers, were told to NOT come to the school. The teachers and administrators who did were badly harassed, forced into a room, forced to beg to go to the rest room (only with escorts), etc. This went on for a couple of days, with a spiral into more racist hysteria among students. It was a total horror scene. And the guy in charge defended it all. Later on the woman campus police chief resigned her job because of the gender and race harassment she had faced, and is now suing the school. Now there's been an over 20% drop in enrollment, and the school is cutting back drastically on classes and professors. Gee, why would that be? Below is just one video about this, there are several others up as well. This is what happens when blind, fanatic "social justice" idiots get power and twist the system into a total debacle. It doesn't bring any good, only more negative effects in our whole society. --Del

U.N. Report Faults Trump For Obama Poverty, Media Fall For It
Excerpt: Amid all the immigration hoo-ha, maybe you missed the uncritical mainstream media reports of a United Nations study faulting President Trump for poverty in America. Turns out, it's just more fake news. An uncritical Reuters headline says it all: "America's poor becoming more destitute under Trump: U.N. expert". The Hill's equally blase headline: "UN poverty official: Trump exacerbating inequality." The report — really a first-person narrative — released earlier this month, ripped President Trump for his "contempt" and "hatred of the poor." The report cited 18.5 million Americans who live in extreme policy, and massive U.S. defense spending at the expense of social programs. Only one problem: As Chuck DeVore, vice president of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, points out, the data on which the study was based came from 2016. (Wow, this is almost funny. A scathing report on how bad things are in the USA, all blamed on Trump, based on data from the Obama years? How stupid can these "reporters" be? Oops, it's not about stupid, it's about a heavily biased agenda that says to use anything at all in the attack. But this incident is nice in a way, it reveals beyond doubt the agenda. What's really stupid (in my opinion) is that there are plenty of things about Mr. Trump that people can legitimately criticize, but no, that's not dramatic enough, he has to be not just somehow objectionable in some things, he has to be Satan himself in all things. --Del)

Excerpt: political-science journal that published an oft-cited study claiming conservatives were more likely to show traits associated with “psychoticism” now says it got it wrong. Very wrong.
The American Journal of Political Science published a correction this year saying that the 2012 paper has “an error” — and that liberal political beliefs, not conservative ones, are actually linked to psychoticism.
“The interpretation of the coding of the political attitude items in the descriptive and preliminary analyses portion of the manuscript was exactly reversed,” the journal said in the startling correction.
“The descriptive analyses report that those higher in Eysenck’s psychoticism are more conservative, but they are actually more liberal; and where the original manuscript reports those higher in neuroticism and social desirability are more liberal, they are, in fact, more conservative.”

Why is the Democrats' bizarre IT scandal being ignored?
stolen, all kinds of important rules and laws broken. But so far, no one has been indicted and it's getting close to zero coverage. The "collusion" investigation has found nothing but wisps of smoke after many millions spent and a whole raft of various investigators running far and wide, up and down, to dig up any scrap of what might be evidence. And the only things we're sure of are that the Dems paid for the manufactured "dossier", and there were and are still lots of people in federal offices who had no trouble at all inserting their own personal political biases into their work. But this glaring mess with a family running around Congress with access to all kinds of stuff and collecting big bucks while really being incompetent at what they were supposed to be doing somehow gets a pass? Again, if it weren't for double standards the Left and most of the media would have no standards at all. Del

Tip: Pentagon Covering Up Fact That Female Officers Nearly Sank Navy Ship
Ever since I heard that a huge, slow container ship had smashed into a US Navy warship, I have been waiting to find out how this could possibly happen. On ships like that one there are almost always four people on the bridge, four in CIC, and four on watch. And electronic equipment that could spot a scull miles away, much less a monster ship. So how in hell could a monster come out of the darkness and collide with the ship with that many people awake whose one main thing to do was to make sure such a thing did not happen? I still don't have a complete answer, but some things are showing up, bit by painful, embarassing, and infuriating bit. Here's part of the story. Some will jump up and say it's just male nastiness to point out these facts, but I think it may well be something more than just that. We know all too well that starting over 6 years ago, maybe 10, the priority at the Naval Academy was "diversity" and the PC push to get women and minorities commissioned went into high gear. It's not unreasonable to suspect that some of today's problems stem from all that. --Del

UN: Basic human rights being ‘chiseled away’ in Venezuela
Excerpt: Government security forces in Venezuela carry out unjustified killings without any apparent consequences as the rule of law in the country quickly vanishes, a United Nations report charged Friday. The Office of the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights said Venezuelan officers accused in some 500 questionable killings appear to be evading any charges. That is a sign that checks and balances have been chiseled away, leaving state authorities unaccountable, said Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, the high commissioner. Thirty Years On, How Well Do Global Warming Predictions Stand Up? James Hansen issued dire warnings in the summer of 1988. Today earth is only modestly warmer.
By Pat Michaels and Ryan Maue
Excerpt: Mr. Hansen’s testimony described three possible scenarios for the future of carbon dioxide emissions. He called Scenario A “business as usual,” as it maintained the accelerating emissions growth typical of the 1970s and ’80s. This scenario predicted the earth would warm 1 degree Celsius by 2018. Scenario B set emissions lower, rising at the same rate today as in 1988. Mr. Hansen called this outcome the “most plausible,” and predicted it would lead to about 0.7 degree of warming by this year. He added a final projection, Scenario C, which he deemed highly unlikely: constant emissions beginning in 2000. In that forecast, temperatures would rise a few tenths of a degree before flatlining after 2000. Thirty years of data have been collected since Mr. Hansen outlined his scenarios—enough to determine which was closest to reality. And the winner is Scenario C. Global surface temperature has not increased significantly since 2000, discounting the larger-than-usual El Niño of 2015-16. Assessed by Mr. Hansen’s model, surface temperatures are behaving as if we had capped 18 years ago the carbon-dioxide emissions responsible for the enhanced greenhouse effect. But we didn’t. And it isn’t just Mr. Hansen who got it wrong. Models devised by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change have, on average, predicted about twice as much warming as has been observed since global satellite temperature monitoring began 40 years ago. (Gee, once again it seems any objective analysis of the real data shows a huge misfit between the dire predictions of impending horrific disaster and the reality that's unfolded over decades. Pass on to your super worried friends....Del)

The Bad Hate the Good: The Southern Poverty Law Center Vs. Prager University
The group was founded in 1971 to help poor people who'd suffered discrimination or been attacked by racists. It did a lot of good work back then. But in the last 25 years or so it's drifted further and further Left, and has now become a tool of super Social Justice Warriors, for whom the slightest connection to the Right side of the aisle makes you a total fascist. Their list of "hate groups" does contain some such, but its definition has expanded like a loose rubber band and now includes all kinds of groups or people who simply don't toe the PC line perfectly. They are coasting on the reputation they earned back in the '70s, but they are not that group at all now, and they need to be recognized for what they have become. --Del
