Hiding the Truth.

Hiding the Truth. By Robert A. Hall

"The only people who don't want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide." -Barack Obama

Yes, indeed. That would be why:

  • The meetings about Obamacare were not open, despite his promises.

  • The press has been excluded from many administration meetings.

  • The full effects of Obamacare have been delayed until after the 2014 election, including the premium rates when you sign up for it.

  • Lois Lerner of the IRS took the 5th.

  • The IRS had several convenient, against-all-odds computer crashes, the hard drives were destroyed before they could be examined, and Lerner's Blackberry was wiped clean. The media would be calling it "obstruction of justice" if a Republican was president.

  • The EPA also "lost" emails/text messages.

  • Eric Holder has consistently withheld documents on fast and Furious from Congress.

  • The administration consistently lied about Benghazi.

  • The White House covered up the fairly-minor  “Cartagena hooker” scandal because it was before the 2012 election, lying to the media.

  • Obama won't say what he plans to do about Amnesty for illegal immigrants or closing Gitmo by executive order until after the 2014 election.

  • The Army has reportedly completed its investigation of Bergdahl, but the results are not being released...until after the 2014 election.

  • The White House refuses to release what Obama's fund-raising trips have cost the taxpayers, because, "It might be embarrassing and would draw lots of criticism."
From blog readers:

  • One of the very first legislations Obama signed off on in 2009 dealt with giving the SEC exponentially more power to investigate private business’ and citizens’ financial histories while simultaneously severely limiting what information private citizens could obtain from the SEC through FOIA. --Jon W.

  • Withholding White House Personnel testimony to the point of Contempt of Congress charges in most of the administration-related congressional investigations. --Jon W.
