Leninthink

Leninthink
I have only read a bit about Lenin, but have watched some documentaries about the Russian Revolution that had him as a main focus. He was a man of immense self conviction, and essentially devoid of actual human kindness or compassion. He was said to love people, but whatever he loved (besides himself and power) was some kind of ideal for the future, not remotely related to any human being in his own time. Nobody wants to say things like I'm about to say anymore, but I like to keep things simple and honest. The man was truly evil, no commandant of a Nazi death camp, no mass killer in Pol Pot's murder machine, was ever any more evil than Lenin was. And his kind of evil goes on, mostly disguised and diluted, but still effective in destroying people. Reading about him and the kind of thinking he pioneered is very educational, especially today. --Del
