Bataan Death March survivor: Marine Corps Veteran Irvin Scott

Bataan Death March survivor: Marine Corps Veteran Irvin Scott
This poor SOB went through a lot, as did my uncle Chet, who was captured when Corregidor was surrendered, though Chet didn’t have to make the Bataan Death March, he was at O’Donnell, and later on the Hell Ships and finished the war as a “Guest of the Emperor” (aka slave laborer) in Japan. Like Scott’s comrades, he hated the Japanese till the day he dies, and would not buy anything made in Japan - though towards the end of his life, that was getting harder to do…SF, Jim
