Leatherneck magazine is in trouble

Our magazine, Leatherneck, has hit some rough waters. Fewer people are reading, especially books and publications. In 2015, only 43% of American read one book in a year! Yes, Americans are spending more time reading free content on line, but the real killer for reading has been the growth in the amount of time American pend watching TV. Like other publications, Leatherneck’s circulation has declined. That means less subscription and ad revenue, which means cutbacks, which means fewer readers. You can graph out where this plane hits the ground and we lose our iconic magazine, a loss to all Marines. I have been a subscriber for many years and enjoy the magazine every month. I urge you to join the MCA&F and thus subscribe, if you don’t already.
Time for a little Semper Fi! Please pass this to other Marines.
