Update

Five hours at the VA Thursday for pre-op workup. My cataract surgery has been moved up to Wednesday, January 21. That may interfere with timely blog posts. Sorry. But so would going blind. ~Bob

Comment on Phishing
For several years I have been getting many calls from Rachael at Card Services wanting to reduce the percentage on my credit card bills. I proudly tell her to take my name off their calling list, inform them that I owe nadda on credit cards and that I will be reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry. To think that someone a little less savvy would fall for their schemes is very frightening and it is disappointing that some people actually believe that the government actually prosecutes violators of the Do No Call Registry because I've been filing complaints for years and I'm still getting the phone calls. --Sharon

Book Recommendation: Puller Chronicles Volume 1: Secrets and Mysteries of the Greatest Marine's Heroic Ancestral Faith by Meriwether Ball
I would recommend this book to Marines of strong Christian faith. Meriwether bell has set out to document both LtGen. Puller's genealogy, but the foundations of his faith. This is not a combat story, but explores aspects of Puller not included in Jon Hoffman's definitive biography,

Doom: IRS Complains About Budget Cuts, Forgets The Back Taxes IRS Employees Owe. By Katie Pavlich
Excerpt: Notice how Koskinen doesn't mention the extra hell Obamacare rules are putting tax filers through this year... Maybe Koskinen should ask IRS employees who owe back taxes to pay up in order to help fill the gap. Or how about avoiding handing out bonuses worth millions to employees who owe back taxes to the federal government?

Parents investigated for neglect after letting kids walk home alone
Excerpt: It was a one-mile walk home from a Silver Spring park on Georgia Avenue on a Saturday afternoon. But what the parents saw as a moment of independence for their 10-year-old son and 6-year-old daughter, they say authorities viewed much differently. Danielle and Alexander Meitiv say they are being investigated for neglect for the Dec. 20 trek — in a case they say reflects a clash of ideas about how safe the world is and whether parents are free to make their own choices about raising their children. (I was neglected. Parents are dead so I can't sue. ~Bob)

Government Officials Cracking Down On Preppers http://www.infowars.com/government-officials-cracking-down-on-preppers/
Excerpt: There are approximately 3 million preppers in the United States today, and often they appear to be singled out for punishment by bureaucratic control freaks that are horrified at the thought that there are families out there that actually want to try to become less dependent on the system. So if you use alternative methods to heat your home, or if you are not connected to the utility grid, or if you collect rainwater on your property, or if you believe that parents should have the ultimate say when it comes to health decisions for their children, you could become a target for overzealous government enforcers. Once upon a time, America was the land of the free and the home of the brave, but now we are being transformed into a socialist police state where control freak bureaucrats use millions of laws, rules and regulations to crack down on anyone that dares to think for themselves.

Offenders of the Western Faith. By Victor Davis Hanson
Excerpt: Western civilization’s creed is free thought and expression, the lubricant of everything from democracy to human rights. Even a simpleton in the West accepts that protecting free expression is not the easy task of ensuring the right to read Homer’s “Iliad” or do the New York Times crossword puzzle. It entails instead the unpleasant duty of allowing offensive expression. ... Unfortunately, when we look to prominent defenders of the Western faith in free speech, we find too often offenders.

Trey Gowdy Just Gave a Speech for the Ages and the Democrats were Floored
Excerpt: Rep. Gowdy gave us another example of his ability when he rose to speak about the dangers of executive overreach and the sad state of the legislature. He moved the Democrats to jeer and his fellow Republicans to cheer. It was the best speech of 2015, and though it’s early, it may still be when 2016 rolls around. Do yourself a favor and listen to his short speech.

$412 Billion in Welfare Spending in 2013
Excerpt: America spent a whopping $412 billion in 2013 on federal welfare programs. That number is staggering, but especially so compared to welfare spending just 15 years earlier: in 1998, spending on federal welfare programs cost $225 billion in today's dollars. Between 1998 and 2013, the United States saw an 83 percent increase in federal welfare spending.

The Hire More Heroes Act is misguided. There is no veterans’ unemployment crisis. By Peter A. Gudmundsson
Excerpt: Last week, the House of Representatives unanimously approved the Hire More Heroes Act, which would exempt businesses from counting newly hired military veterans toward the 50-worker threshold at which they must provide health insurance or pay a fine under the Affordable Care Act. Although the bill calls veterans “heroes,” it treats them as victims. ... Americans may be shocked to learn that there is no veterans’ unemployment crisis. The unemployment rate in 2014 for post-9/11 veterans was 7.2 percent, the lowest level in seven years of tracking these veterans. ... Peter A. Gudmundsson, who was a Marine artillery officer, is chief executive of RecruitMilitary, a national veteran recruiting company. (Well, I like that it chips away at Obamacare. ~Bob)

Scott Walker Moves Toward Presidential Run as ‘New, Fresh Leader.’ By Zeke J. Miller
Excerpt: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker left little doubt Thursday that he is planning to run for the White House in 2016. Speaking to the Republican National Committee (RNC) at its winter meeting in San Diego, the union-busting Midwesterner cast himself as a “new, fresh leader,” laying out a clear rationale for his candidacy as a blue-state governor with a proven record of reforming government.

Fracking Saved the Obama Economy. By Ben Shapiro
Excerpt: It turns out that Obama’s recovery hasn’t been his recovery at all: it’s been those evil oil and gas companies. As Stephen Moore of the Heritage Foundation points out, “From 2008 to 2013, the oil and gas industry created more jobs on net than all other industries combined.” There is a reason that the fastest growing jobs state over the past several years has been North Dakota, where the oil and gas boom is centered, thanks to the Bakken formation. And in Texas, the oil and gas industry growth has powered the state, thanks to the Eagle Ford and the Permian and Haynesville formations.

Gun News

Alleged Robber Shot and Killed by Victim in Taco Bell Parking Lot: BSO
Excerpt: The suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Rontavis Holton, told the victim it was a robbery and to drop his pants, the Broward Sheriff's Office said. “Our victim in this case was himself armed, he took out his gun and shot the suspect, then he went inside the Taco Bell, told them what happened and asked them to call police," BSO spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said.

Store clerk shoots, kills robbery suspect in Newark, authorities say
Excerpt: A clerk at a supermarket shot and killed one person who was attempting to rob the store Tuesday night, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said.

IMPD: Clerk shoots suspect during armed robbery
Excerpt: Police say a suspect entered the clothing store armed and wearing a mask. The robber, later identified as Carlos Brookins, 34, from Indianapolis, demanded money from the employee behind the register. They say the employee complied, and Brookins started to leave with cash. But then, police say the employee tried to call 911, and Brookins approached the employee again. That’s when they say another employee noticed what was going on and shot Brookins in the head.

Papa John's Pizza stands by employee who shot armed robber in self defense
Excerpt: Papa John's Pizza is standing by a pizza delivery woman who opened fire Sunday on an armed robber in an act of self defense. The pizza franchise told FoxNews.com Thursday the employee, who hasn't been named, will not be fired from the company.

Union appealing after Seattle cop suspended for racial slur
Excerpt: A white Seattle police officer was suspended for 15 days without pay after using racially-charged language while pursuing a black domestic violence suspect downtown. ... Several minutes into the pursuit, Warren is seen crossing in front of Officer Hunt's patrol car on foot. Hunt can then be heard yelling, "You're gunna get your ass shot, boy."

New study claims microaggressions are linked to shortened life span
Excerpt: The new bugbear for leftist academics and gender studies majors in elite colleges… and soon to be new hotness with Democrat politicians… is the idea of “microaggressions.” The basic idea here is that everyone but Pale Patriarchal Penis People are subjected to a nonstop daily barrage of unintended racism and sexism.

Obamacare/Government Healthcare News

Chicago Tribune: Higher Costs, Fewer Benefits for Workers Under Obamacare. By Guy Benson
Excerpt: Coverage of the president's signature legislative accomplishment has taken a back seat to other issues and international events in early 2015, but -- as expected -- the law's woes continue to mount. Central promises employed to help market Obamacare to a skeptical public have fallen like dominoes, and the law is actively hurting many more people than it's helping.

'Enough is enough!': Boehner fills House chamber with high drama as he lashes out against Obama in high-stakes immigration battle – and throws his own words back in his face. By David Martosko, Us Political Editor For Dailymail.com
Excerpt: John Boehner created the first live-action high drama on the House floor Wednesday, staking out a no-compromise position on blocking Barack Obama's sweeping immigration plan and reading aloud 22 examples of the president's past claims that he lacked the authority to put it into action. (Apparently he has decided to stop pussyfooting around with Mr. Obama and is ready for the war. Since Obama has been off and running doing whatever he feels like anyhow since the election, it probably makes as much sense as anything else now. This may get very ugly. --Del)

"You're Greener than Gore" News

The Keystone Catechism. By George Will
Excerpt: Not since the multiplication of the loaves and fishes near the Sea of Galilee has there been creativity as miraculous as that of the Keystone XL pipeline. It has not yet been built but already is perhaps the most constructive infrastructure project since the Interstate Highway System. It has accomplished an astonishing trifecta: It has made mincemeat of Barack Obama’s pose of thoughtfulness. It has demonstrated that he lacks even a rudimentary understanding of the most basic economic realities. It has dramatized environmentalism’s descent into infantilism. (George Will does a superb job cutting this into bits and pieces. It is now just SO STUPID as to defy belief, but Mr. Obama is still standing in the road trying to prevent any kind of progress at all. And the environmentalists are showing themselves to have become silly children demanding some kind of absolute power over everything. (And I have been concerned for the environment for many, many years, but I remain rational about it.) We are about to see another battle begin in the war between GOP Congress and the President. Hopefully our "emperor" will lose. --Del)

Behind Obama’s greenhouse emissions math. By Stephen Stromberg
Excerpt: When you’re setting goals for combating climate change, a lot depends on when you start. The White House announced Wednesday new rules on methane, the primary component in the massive amounts of natural gas that the country produces. The administration’s goal is to cut methane emissions by 45 percent by 2025, based on the emissions level in 2012. By contrast, the goal for total greenhouse emissions — mainly carbon dioxide — is a cut of 28 percent by 2025based on the emissions level in 2005. Why use different years as the nation’s starting point? Because it makes President Obama’s programs look better.

Worth Reading Repeat: This Is Obama’s Last Foreign Policy Chance. By Leslie H. Gelb
Excerpt: Here’s why America’s failure to be represented at the Paris unity march was so profoundly disturbing. It wasn’t just because President Obama’s or Vice President Biden’s absence was a horrendous gaffe. More than this, it demonstrated beyond argument that the Obama team lacks the basic instincts and judgment necessary to conduct U.S. national security policy in the next two years. It’s simply too dangerous to let Mr. Obama continue as is—with his current team and his way of making decisions. America, its allies, and friends could be heading into one of the most dangerous periods since the height of the Cold War. (Here’s why America’s failure to be represented at the Paris unity march was so profoundly disturbing. America, its allies, and friends could be heading into one of the most dangerous periods since the height of the Cold War. (Leslie Gelb is not a conservative. You can think of him as sort of the distilled essence of the inside-the-Beltway foreign policy wonk-ish Establishment. Lefty, but not far lefty: former correspondent for the New York Times, longtime president of the Council on Foreign Relations, assistant secretary of state in the Carter administration. Most of the time, you can guess half of his recommendations before he makes them: close consultation with our allies, international summit, a multilateral commitment to open lines of communication, good-faith trust-building gesture . . . He’s the kind of guy who gushed about Obama as a fresh start and breath of fresh air and so on before he took office. He’s the kind of guy who spent the past six years giving Obama the benefit of the doubt. Paris Attack: Live by the Pen, Die by the Sword. By Lt. Colonel James G. Zumwalt, USMC (Ret)
Excerpt: While we may want to believe "the pen is mightier than the sword," the deadly and cowardly January 7th attack on the Paris offices of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo by three Muslim terrorists seeks to send us a contrary message. Unfortunately, it was the newspaper's use, twice, of its pen in publishing a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad, along with a more recent caricature of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, that brought a deadly response by Islam's ruthless sword.

France awards citizenship to man who hid hostages in fridge
Excerpt: A Malian man who saved several hostages during the attack on a kosher market in Paris by hiding them in a refrigerator will be given French citizenship. French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said Thursday that Lassana Bathily will be given naturalized French status, and the government will honor him during a ceremony on Jan. 20. Bathily, a 24-year-old Malian citizen who is also Muslim, was working in the Hyper Cacher kosher market in the Vincennes neighborhood of Paris when a gunman entered the building on Jan. 9, killing four. (Good. Be a death sentence if he had to go back to Mali. ~Bob)

Excerpt: Is this not a form of terrorism? First it was the Muslim Life center on campus. Now the entire campus. via Muslim call to prayer to sound at Duke University :: WRAL.com.
Durhamistan, N.C. — A weekly call to prayer for Muslims will be heard at Duke University starting Friday, school officials said. Members of the Duke Muslim Students Association will chant the call, known as adhan or azan, from the Duke Chapel bell tower each Friday at 1 p.m. The call to prayer will last about three minutes and be “moderately amplified,” officials said in a statement Tuesday. “The adhan is the call to prayer that brings Muslims back to their purpose in life, which is to worship God, and serves as a reminder to serve our brothers and sisters in humanity,” said Imam Adeel Zeb, Muslim chaplain at Duke. (At what time will they be broadcasting Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Yazidis, etc., etc. prayers? ~Bob)

That was quick: Duke bows to pressure, cancels weekly Muslim call to prayer
Excerpt: Duke University has canceled its plans to have a Muslim prayer announcement broadcast from Duke Chapel's belltower on Friday afternoons. The university announced its plans to facilitate a call to prayer on Thursday, but Duke officials acknowledged the decision resulted in unintended backlash. (Well, it's interesting that the Duke managers were just a tad unconscious about how broadcasting a Muslim call to prayer from the Chapel belltower would be received. I am glad they were smart enough to know when to back off, and the comment that the move was not going to have the positive effect they wanted shows some intelligence. Of course now we get the standard responses from sympathizers that this is just Islamophobia in action, as if we don't see people objecting right and left about any Christian symbols displayed in public. While that kind of intolerance of Christianity is ongoing it just isn't going to play well that a Muslim call to prayer would get broadcast from a school founded by Christians. Maybe it would be a nice demonstration of Christian tolerance towards people of other faiths, but with all that's been going on in the recent past it is just better to let this go. --Del)

Excerpt: The Department of Defense announced Wednesday that five Yemeni terror suspects held at Guantanamo Bay had been transferred out of the facility, despite renewed concerns from lawmakers about the risks of releasing detainees. (Well, you may not be able to keep your plan, as Obama promised, but by golly, he's keeping the promise to close Gitmo no matter how many Americans die because of it in the future. ~Bob)

Belgian security forces kill 2 terrorist suspects in shootout
Excerpt: Belgian counterterrorism police raided sites across the country Thursday, killing two suspected terrorists who allegedly had been planning an imminent attack, as European nations stepped up security in the wake of last week’s violence in Paris. (Okay, blood sausages for the Belgians today. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Boudin ~Bob)

More counterterrorism raids reportedly underway in Belgium after police thwart 'Belgian Charlie Hebdo' attack
Excerpt: More counterterrorism operations were reportedly underway in Belgium late Thursday, hours after police killed at least two in raids aimed at jihadists returning from Syria who were planning to launch a "Belgian Charlie Hebdo" attack, authorities said.
Belgian news site L'Avenir, as well as Le Soir and France24, reported that the government prosecutor's office said a dozen operations have been launched against suspects across Belgium, in Verviers, Brussels and Hal-Vilvoorde. Some of those targeted in the raids are known to have returned recently from Syria.

Excerpt: The US killed seven "militants," including two Uzbeks, in the second drone strike reported in Pakistan's tribal areas so far this year. The CIA-operated, remotely piloted Predators or Reapers fired two missiles at a compound in the village of Wacha Dara in South Waziristan earlier today, Dawn reported. Four more militants are reported to have been wounded in the airstrike.

Iran Goes Ballistic. By Yoel Guzansky and Yiftah S. Shapir
Excerpt: While discussions of Iran's growing strategic threat focus almost exclusively on its nuclear capabilities and objectives, Tehran's massive ballistic missile arsenal poses a clear and present danger to both the oil installations of the Persian Gulf monarchies and to the Western military presence in the region. This in turn has prompted members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to acquire air defense and ballistic missile defense (BMD) systems at various levels and in various configurations. At the same time, endemic inter-gulf rivalries (e.g., the growing rift between Riyadh and Doha) have left these nations highly vulnerable to Iranian missile threats.

Prosecutor: Argentinian President Plotted to Cover Up Iranian Role in AMIA Bombing
Excerpt: An Argentinian prosecutor is suing Argentinian President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and the Argentinian government for allegedly covering up Iranian involvement in the 1994 bombing of the AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires, the Algemeiner reports.

Former Secret Service Agent Calls Obama ‘A Petulant Child’
Excerpt: An Admin official who declined to be identified said security requirements for the Pres or VP might have been distracting from the march. The Secret Service fired back, saying they were never even asked to prepare for an Obama trip to Paris. And now, a former Secret Service agent has joined the fray, referring to Obama’s staff as “amateur hour” and saying the President was simply “acting like a petulant child.”

The Antisemitic Derangement. By Jeff Jacoby
Excerpt: “If 100,000 Jews leave, France will no longer be France. The French Republic will be judged a failure.” His misgivings were far from groundless. An exodus of French Jews is already underway and accelerating rapidly. In 2012, there were just over 1,900 immigrants to Israel from France. The following year nearly 3,400 French Jews emigrated; in 2014 approximately 7,000 left. For the first time ever, France heads the list of countries of origin for immigrants to Israel, and the ministry of immigration absorption expects another 10,000 French Jews to arrive in 2015.

Nigeria's Boko Haram: Baga destruction 'shown in images'
Excerpt: Satellite images of Nigerian towns attacked by Boko Haram show widespread destruction and suggest a high death toll, Amnesty International says. They show some 3,700 structures damaged or destroyed in Baga and Doron Baga last week, the human-rights group said. Nigeria's government has disputed reports that as many as 2,000 were killed, putting the toll at just 150.

Why Obama Did Not March. Jack Cashill sees consistent message in president's decision to watch football
Excerpt: Simply put, Obama was not about to pass up the NFL’s most watchable weekend – all four of my teams won, by the way – to march for a cause he does not believe in. From his emergence on the national scene in 2004, Obama has been all about suppressing speech. As the titular head of the various progressive sub-cults – black, Hispanic, environmental, feminist, socialist, gay, and (bizarrely) Muslim – he has either endorsed or ignored any number of assaults on speech by his subalterns.

Obama Dedicated To Islamist Ascendency. Erik Rush says president 'finds all of this jihadi mayhem positively delicious'
Excerpt: It is obvious that Europe is suffering for their folly of the last few decades in allowing Muslims to immigrate to their nations: “No-go” areas in France, pedophiliac sex-slave rings in Britain, a rape epidemic in Sweden and anti-Semitic demonstrations – all these are the byproducts of this Islamist ascendancy....When addressing the Paris attack, in his trademark closeted Islamist fashion, President Obama refused to associate the gunmen with Islam in any way, avoiding use of the words “Islam,” “radical Islam,” “Muslim,” “jihad” or “Shariah.” This should be no surprise, however, coming from the man who catalyzed the Arab Spring, orchestrated the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt, set Libya ablaze and who funded, armed and trained the terror group ISIS. (Black author. --Barb)

Cameroon says Chad to send large military contingent to fight Boko Haram
Excerpt: Chad will send a large number of troops to neighboring Cameroon to help it fight increasing incursions from Boko Haram Islamist militants attacking from Nigeria, the Central African nation's president said on Thursday. The announcement by President Paul Biya did not specify how many troops Chad will send, but comes a day after the Chadian government said it will actively help Cameroon fight Boko Haram militants.

Libya: Cemetery of British war victims destroyed by Muslim Mob

Backlash. By Jonah Goldberg, The Goldberg File
By the way, how much have you heard about the anti-Muslim backlash over the last decade and a half? Well, here’s a fun fact. In every year since 9/11 the number of anti-Jewish hate crimes in the U.S. has dwarfed anti-Muslim hate crimes. In 2001 -- you know, the year when the World Trade Center was knocked down by Islamist terrorists -- there were still twice as many anti-Jewish incidents as there were anti-Muslim ones reported to the FBI. By 2002, things got back to “normal” and anti-Jewish outstripped anti-Muslim hate crimes by roughly a factor of five -- and it’s stayed that way ever since. In 2013, nearly 60 percent of anti-religious hate crimes were against Jews. Just over 14 percent were against Muslims. Now, I’m not saying America is anti-Semitic, far from it. It’s easily the most philo-Semitic country in the world, save for Israel (and if you spent time listening to Israelis criticize themselves, you’d consider that a debatable proposition). But when was the last time you heard a reporter from the New York Times fret over the need to be careful lest we encourage an anti-Semitic backlash?

The Folly of ‘Fundamentalism.’ When it comes to “religious extremism,” religion matters. By Kevin D. Williamson
Excerpt: As the slaughter at the offices of Charlie Hebdo in Paris reminds us, the phrase “religious extremism” is useless in that it is almost entirely devoid of content. It matters — and it matters a great deal — which religion is under consideration. The world does not have much of a problem with Quaker extremism, Mormon extremism, African Methodist Episcopal extremist, Reform Jewish extremism, Zen Buddhist extremism, Southern Baptist extremism, etc. We’ve seen, over the past few decades, scattered paroxysms of Hindu extremism and Sikh extremism (India), Buddhist violence (Burma), quasi-Christian cult violence (Uganda, Sudan), etc., but the big show in terms of violent extremism is the never-ending circus of jihad.

Worth Reading: The Conversation Obama Doesn’t Want to Have: The White House seems to think its denial of radical Islam will stop people from believing the obvious. By Jonah Goldberg
Excerpt: White House spokesman Josh Earnest says, “We have chosen not to use that label [of radical Islam] because it doesn’t seem to accurately describe what happened.”
What happened was the slaughter last week at the satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo. The sound of the terrorists’ gunfire was punctuated by shouts of “Allahu akbar!” and “We have avenged the prophet Mohammed!” Since no one questions the sincerity of these declarations, that alone should settle the issue of whether Islam had anything to do with the attack. And for normal people it would. The problem is that the White House’s position is categorical denial.

After three years of research in texts of 10 biggest religions linguist concludes: Islam is the most violent religion. By Nicolai Sennels
Excerpt: “For three years a Danish linguist has analyzed the basic texts of 10 religions. She concludes that the texts of Islam stand out by encouraging terrorism and violence more than other religions. … Furthermore, the Quran contains hundreds of calls to fight against followers of other faiths. ‘If it is true that many Muslims view the Quran as God’s own words that can not be interpreted or rephrased, we have a problem.'” (Yup. ~Bob)

Obama: Charlie Who? Our president seems to have forgotten that the war is still on. The Islamists haven’t. By Charles Krauthammer
Excerpt: On Sunday, at the great Paris rally, the whole world was Charlie. By Tuesday, the veneer of solidarity was exposed as tissue thin. It began dissolving as soon as the real, remaining Charlie Hebdo put out its post-massacre issue featuring a Muhammad cover that, as the New York Times put it, "reignited the debate pitting free speech against religious sensitivities.” Again? Already? Had not 4 million marchers and 44 foreign leaders just turned out on the streets of Paris to declare “No” to intimidation, and to pledge solidarity, indeed identification (“Je suis Charlie”), with a satirical weekly specializing in the most outrageous and often tasteless portrayals of Muhammad?

The religion of peace? By Nicolai Sennels, psychologist
Excerpt: The terrorist watch site, TheReligionOfPeace.com, has kept track of all jihad attacks since September 11, 2001, when 19 devoted Muslims steered two jumbo jets into the World Trade Center. Since that day, 24,852 (and counting) deadly terrorist attacks have been committed by Muslims in the name of Islam, Allah and its prophet. That is 5.1 deadly jihad attacks each day for the last 14+ years. That is a lot of dead bodies, even more bereaved family members and friends, and wounded, traumatized, handicapped survivors. None of those claiming that Islam is a so called “religion of peace” has backed their claim with documentation and proof. Not from the Quran, not from the sayings of Muhammad in the hadiths, and definitely not from the history of Islam.

PA Documents Detail Payments to Terrorists
Excerpt: Official Palestinian Authority policy provides monthly payments for convicted terrorists held in Israeli jails. The longer the sentence, the more the terrorist's family receives. A jury saw the document outlining that policy Thursday during testimony in a $1 billion civil trial brought by American victims of terrorist attacks in Israel between 2002 and 2004. The attacks were carried out by branches of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), Palestinian Authority (PA), their employees or others who received assistance from the groups. (Murder a Jew, set your family up. ~Bob)

Suppose Islam Had a Holocaust and No One Noticed. By Daniel Greenfield
Excerpt: Survivors described the Islamic State setting up efficient killing teams and massacring everyone while shouting “Allahu Akbar”. “For five kilometers (three miles), I kept stepping on dead bodies until I reached Malam Karanti village, which was also deserted and burnt,” one survivor said. There’s a word for that. It’s genocide.

2015: Muslim Masters, Infidel Slaves. By Jack Kerwick
Excerpt: Agents of the Racism-Industrial-Complex (RIC) are forever wailing from the rooftops over the fact that whites once enslaved blacks in America. But there are some crucial facts that they omit from the narrative of White Oppression and Black Victimhood. First, from the mists of time until the 18th century, slavery had been a universal institution, endorsed by religious and non-religious moralists alike. The very word “slave” stems from “Slav,” which in turn derives from the Slavish people’s experience of having been enslaved en masse by North African Muslims.
