Today's Political News and Comment

Health Update
I had an epiphany on my FEV numbers Wednesday morning. At the PFT, (that's Pulmonary Function Test, Marines) they always told me to blow as hard as I could. But the transplant team told me that the collapse happens when I exhale, so I thought blowing hard might cause more collapse, hurting my BiPAP efforts to keep the airway open and lowering my numbers. So I tried blowing much more lightly--and my Wednesday morning average was 1.16 vs. 0.96 the day before. Up again Thursday to an average of 1.17, despite bad coughing. And Friday morning I averaged 1.3 litters in a second. (Mornings are always higher.) So good news on that front. ~Bob

General News and Comment

Must Read Book: Life at the Bottom: The Worldview That Makes the Underclass by Theodore Dalrymple
I can't believe this terrific book, published in 2001, and written mostly as a series of essays between back to 1995, has just come to my attention. But everything I read suggests that not only is this still the situation throughout Britain, the US and Western Civilization, but has grown worse, not better since he wrote. It was written by Dr. Anthony Daniels under the penname Theodore Dalrymple, probably to protect his hospital, patients and career. From 1990 to 2005, he worked as a doctor and psychiatrist in a prison and a public hospital in a slum in Birmingham, England. This book is a catalog of horrors, but is very entertaining thanks to Daniels' incisive wit and penetrating insights into the causes of their wide-spread misery. I do not know how you can read this and not conclude that either Daniel's is lying about what he witnessed, or that Britain and the west is doomed to collapse, chaos and barbarism. I believe we are losing civilization. He makes the point that in the US, racists often attribute the pathologies of the black underclass--non-marital births, drugs, violence, domestic violence, serial relationships, crime and a cultural disdain for education that destroys the hopes of those who might escape from the situation through self improvement--to race. but in Britain, the underclass with the same pathologies are overwhelmingly white, native-born British people, most of whom cannot tell you when the Second World War took place, or multiply 7X8. (US racists need not be smug anyway--both the Hispanic and white underclass here are catching up, and have enough pathology to ruin the country if every black person suddenly adopted middle class values and work ethics.) In fact. immigrant kids from India in Daniel's city usually do better in school and life. But there is a growing underclass among immigrants, abetted by authorities who are afraid to intervene for fear of being charged with racism, or, if they are minorities themselves, of being Uncle Tom's aiding the white oppressor. He details the sickening story of a little girl tortured to death whose case was pushed off by social workers and doctors who viewed her situation as part of her equally-valid culture. In another case, he recommended a suicidal young immigrant be put in a psychiatric hospital. His family would have none of it, and accused Daniels of racism, threatening to hold a disruptive demonstration in his hospital. Two weeks later the boy hanged himself. This book is not to be missed. I've ordered another book by Daniel's and will report on it. (If I'm spared, as the Scots say.)

Excerpt from Life at the Bottom: The Worldview That Makes the Underclass by Theodore Dalrymple, pp 171-172
So rapidly has political correctness pervaded our institutions that today virtually no one can keep a clear head about race. The institutions of social welfare are concerned to the point of obsession with race. Official anti-racism has given to racial questions a cardinal importance that they never had before. Welfare agencies divide people into racial groups for statistical purposes with a punctiliousness that I have not seen since I lived, briefly, in apartheid South Africa a quarter century ago. It is no longer possible, or even thought desirable, for people involved in welfare services to do their best on a case by case basis, without (as far a humanly possible) racial bias. Indeed, not long ago I received an invitation from my hospital to participate in a racial awareness course, which was based on the assumption that the worst and most dangerous kind of racist was the doctor who deluded himself that he treated all patients equally to the best of his abilities. At least the racial awareness course was not (yet) compulsory; a lawyer friend of mine, elevated recently to the bench, was obliged to go through one such course for newly appointed judges and was holed up for a weekend in a wretched provincial hotel with accusatory representatives of every "community." Come the final dinner, a Muslim representative refused to sit next to one of the newly appointed judges because he was Jewish.

New Kratman Book Out July 1: The Rods and the Axe (Carerra) by Tom Kratman
Next in the Carrera series. I should be able to review it by the next post. ~Bob

Amazing odds, really amazing
The odds of winning the Florida lottery are 1 in 22,957,480.The odds of winning the Powerball lottery are 1 in 175,223,510.The odds of winning Mega Millions lottery are 1 in 258,890,850. The odds of a hard disk drive failing in any given month are roughly one in 36. The odds of two different drives failing in the same month are roughly one in 36 squared, or 1 in about 1,300. The odds of three hard drives failing in the same month is 36 cubed or 1 in 46,656. The odds of seven different hard drives failing in the same month (like what happened at the IRS when they received a letter asking about emails targeting conservative and pro Israeli groups) is 37 to the 7th power = 1 in 78,664,164,096. (That's over 78 Billion) In other words, the odds are greater that you will win the Florida Lottery 342 times than the odds of having those seven IRS hard drives crash in the same month. But it's OK, we can trust this Administration to always get to the bottom of things. BTW, did they find yet the guys at BATF or higher up who really authorized sending all those guns to Mexico? Have the people at NSA who overstepped the bounds and gathered zillions of bits of private information of American citizens been identified publicly? Is the person who really was responsible for denying the request of the one Ambassador in the most dangerous post in the world for more security ever been determined? Just asking..... I mean, yes, sure, they're all just phony scandals, but still, it'd be nice to hear something about who was really involved. It's that damn curiosity bump I have. --Del

Federal judge orders IRS to explain lost Lerner emails ‘under oath’
Excerpt: A federal judge has ordered the IRS to explain "under oath" how the agency lost a trove of emails from the official at the heart of the Tea Party targeting scandal.
U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan gave the tax agency 30 days to file a declaration by an "appropriate official" to address the computer issues with ex-official Lois Lerner.

20 Reasons Obama’s Line About Not Being ‘Interested in Photo-Ops’ is Knee-Slapper of the Century
Excerpt: “This isn’t theater… This is a problem. I’m not interested in photo-ops. I’m interested in solving a problem.” Unfortunately for Obama, his remark has more comedic value than any element of truth. So here are 20 reasons his “not interested in photo-ops” comment is the knee-slapper of the century.

After saying he's not interested in photo-ops, Obama concludes Texas trip with … a photo-op By T. Becket Adams
Excerpt: President Obama ended a visit to the Lone Star State with an impromptu photo-op at Franklin Barbecue in AustinTexas, rounding out a two-day trip that included numerous speaking engagements, raising millions of dollars for Democratic candidates and complaining loudly about Republican opposition. The president's BBQ photo-op comes less than 24 hours after he said during a press conference Wednesday that he would not visit the U.S.-Mexico border because he's not “interested in photo-ops.” (If we know one thing for sure about Obama, it's that he'll say anything he thinks sounds good at the time, secure in the knowledge the media will cover for him when it turns out as it usually does not to be true. ~Bob)

Why the "Rich" Can Get Richer Faster than the "Poor." By Kathryn M. Shelton and Richard B. McKenzie
Excerpt: President Barack Obama has tagged the growing inequality of income over the past three or four decades as "the defining challenge of our time," an often-repeated claim recently echoed by economist Thomas Piketty in Capital in the Twenty-First Century. Numerous social and economic factors explain why the income and wealth gaps have grown, from the rise in family breakdown to the incentives embedded in government welfare programs. However, there are reasons for the gaps that have gone largely, if not completely, unrecognized. These explanations make the relative growth in the income (and wealth) of the rich practically inevitable - at least as officially measured.

Chicago: A Town That Won't Let You Down? By Cal Thomas
Excerpt: Chicago wasn't alone in the Independence Day violence. New York City and Detroit combined for 10 dead in 46 shootings, but let's stick with Chicago where violence in mainly poor African-American and Hispanic neighborhoods has become a way of death.
Mayor Rahm Emanuel issued the familiar statement that such violence is "simply unacceptable." He blames parents (absent fathers would be more to the point) and insufficient gun laws (of which Chicago has some of the toughest in the nation).

America, This Is What an Obama Administration IRS Cover-Up Looks Like: This is a full-blown wall-to-wall cover-up. By Matthew Clark
Excerpt: Here’s the latest email uncovered from the former top IRS official at the center of the targeting scandal: "I had a question today about OCS [Microsoft Office Communications Server]. I was cautioning folks about email and how we have several occasions where Congress has asked for emails and there has been an electronic search for responsive emails – so we need to be cautious about what we say in emails. Someone asked if OCS conversations were also searchable – I don’t know, but told them I would get back to them. Do you know?" Two important things from this email. First, she was actively and aggressively working with others at the IRS to obstruct Congress’s inquiries and hide her emails and communications on the IRS targeting scandal. There is a there there.

John Boehner is Right on Impeachment. By Erick Erickson
Excerpt: As I have written several times, impeachment would be crazy. I get the angst by some Republicans who want the President impeached. But it is crazy talk right now. There aren’t the votes and even if there were the votes it’d never make it through the Senate and would most assuredly scuttle our chances of taking the Senate. Impeachment is not an option. John Boehner is right to say so. (Yes. The ham-handed GOP impeachment of Clinton allowed the press to turn the country in his favor, helped him, and makes him widely respected now. That's not to say it wasn't deserved, but it was bad politics badly handled that aided the liberals. ~Bob)

Scholarly journal retracts 60 articles, smashes ‘peer review ring’
Excerpt: Every now and then a scholarly journal retracts an article because of errors or outright fraud. In academic circles, and sometimes beyond, each retraction is a big deal. Now comes word of a journal retracting 60 articles at once. The reason for the mass retraction is mind-blowing: A “peer review and citation ring” was apparently rigging the review process to get articles published.

Feds Investigate “Racist” Depiction Of Obama As A Zombie
Excerpt: Zombies are racist. Who knew? Check it out: Following complaints by the NAACP, the Department of Justice is investigating a parade float, labeled “racist” by the Nebraska Democratic Party, which featured President Obama depicted as a zombie. (Of course frivolous nonsense like this but not the New Black Panther voter intimidation. --JB. is offensive political speech illegal now? ~Bob.)

Sex worker trade booming in Silicon Valley. By Jessica Guynn
Excerpt: "Anytime you have a lot of young men coming West to seek their fortunes, the sex worker industry responds," said Q, who is an activist for sex workers, writes a column for SF Weekly and has a podcast,The Whorecast. (I guess we were wrong, Governor Jerry Brown’s policies can create jobs. -- Jim Geraghty, Morning Jolt. "Sex Worker" is a media code word for whore. ~Bob)

India Village Council Accused of Ordering Rape
Excerpt: A 14-year-old girl was dragged into a forest and raped on the orders of a village council in remote eastern India in retaliation for a sex assault blamed on her brother, her family and police said Friday. Jitendra Singh, a top local police official, said two men have been arrested in the rape case. They include the village headman and the main suspect, identified as the husband of the woman who was allegedly molested by the victim's brother.

Pro-Russian rebels kill 19 Ukrainian troops in missile attack
Excerpt: Pro-Russia rebels fired missiles Friday at government troops near the Russian border, killing at least 19 servicemen, Ukraine's Defense Ministry said, adding that four other troops died elsewhere in eastern Ukraine.

Judge orders US Marine vet being prosecuted in Mexico to continue to be held
Excerpt: It is illegal to go into Mexico with firearms. Tahmooressi says he accidentally crossed into the border, and asked to be allowed to turn around. A 911 call obtained by U.S. Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) appears to support that claim. However, because he was on Mexican soil, 911 was unable to provide assistance. (On a gun charge, he'll get no help from Obama. ~Bob)

Training Wage Would Boost Teen Employment
Excerpt: Seattle has raised its minimum wage to $15 an hour, and nearly half of all U.S. states have raised their minimum wages above the federal rate of $7.25. While these increases are usually implemented in the name of "fairness," he explains, these policies only hurt young workers. Even though there is a debate regarding the minimum wage's impact on low-skilled workers, the evidence of the minimum wage's impact on teen employment is clear. When the minimum wage was raised in 2007 and 2008, the national teen unemployment rate almost doubled. After these raises, black teenage unemployment increased to nearly 50 percent in 2009. This is an unemployment rate commonly seen in third world countries. The teenage work-participation rate fell to 35 percent, a 10-percentage-point drop in just three years. (Obama could care less about black teens or the low-skilled poor. A minimum wage increase boosts the pay checks of union workers whose contracts call for increases in their wages when the minimum wage increases. ~Bob)

Obamacare News

Rise in part-time workers worries some experts
Excerpt: Baumohl also cites a shift in the labor market, with employers increasingly using part-time and temporary workers to handle short-term projects. "Companies view labor more as inventory that is to be hired when they need it and let go when they don't need it."
The Affordable Care Act, which requires firms with at least 50 employees to provide health insurance to those working at least 30 hours, also could be prompting some businesses to hire more part-time workers, O'Sullivan says. (Obamacare--the gift that keeps on giving. Nothing hits liberals so hard as the law of unintended consequences, especially when "the best and brightest" decide they should make economic decisions for the poor, dumb public. ~Bob)

Part-time work jumps in June by nearly 800,000
Excerpt: One interesting nugget in the June jobs report was the rise in the number of people who worked part-time. While it’s a number that flops around from month to month — the standard deviation is 287,000 — it jumped by 799,000, which was the largest one-month gain since January 1994. At the same time, there was a 523,000-person drop in full-time workers, the first decline since October.

Worth Reading: ObamaCare Is Costing A Lot More Than You Think. By John C. Goodman
Excerpt: Everybody knows that the new health reform program is expensive. But just how expensive is it? Start with the direct costs. The Congressional Budget Office estimates that spending for all the different parts of ObamaCare (health insurance subsidies, Medicaid expansion, administrative costs, etc.) will come to about $2 trillion over the next ten years. That works out to about $2,000 for every household in America, every year. You won’t get a bill for your share of all this, however. Most of the money is collected in hidden ways, such as taxes, health insurance plans, drugs, medical devices and even tanning salons. The cost to you will show up in higher prices, lower wages and (for the elderly) less access to medical care.

Feds push electronic records that make fraud easier
Excerpt: The push for EHRs comes as funding for fraud prevention has been on a downward trend, federal data show, though some funding is set to increase in 2015. Even though the Health Care Fraud and Abuse Control program and Medicare Integrity Program recover more than $8 for every $1 spent, the two programs only make up about 0.22% of total federal health care expenditures, Gelzer estimates using federal and congressional data.

Colorado exchange expects more to drop health coverage. By Arthur Kane
Excerpt: Colorado's health-care exchange is expecting nearly twice as many people to drop or decline to pay for their policies, resulting in $1 million less in revenue this fiscal year.
In April, the staff projected 13 percent of people will drop or not pay for policies in fiscal 2015, but now they are expecting about 24 percent to drop their policies, according to the latest model.

The Hidden Costs of Obamacare. By Leon H. Wolf
Excerpt: Obamacare is a tax that is costly to businesses and individuals in a lot of obvious ways. Many of those, though – the penalties, the fees, the increased costs of coverage, the loss of doctors and health plans – have already been covered ad nauseam. One aspect of the law’s cost to the American economy that has received comparatively little attention has been the compliance costs imposed on the healthcare sector by the law. And last week, those costs got much worse. One of the most pernicious ways in which the Federal Government taxes businesses is by requiring them to prepare and turn in reams of paperwork that probably no one will ever read in order to comply with regulations that were neither passed nor approved by Congress.

Undocumented Democrats News

Worth Reading: Hypocrites Take a Selfish Stance on Border Crisis. By Victor Davis Hanson
Excerpt: For all the pop romance in Latin America associated with Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba, few Latinos prefer to immigrate to such communist utopias or to socialist spins-offs like Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador or Peru. Instead, hundreds of thousands of poor people continue to risk danger to enter democratic, free-market America, which they have often been taught back home is the source of their misery. They either believe that America’s supposedly inadequate social safety net is far better than the one back home, or that its purportedly cruel free market gives them more opportunities than anywhere in Latin America – or both. Mexico strictly enforces some of the harshest immigration laws in the world that either summarily deport or jail most who dare to cross Mexican borders illegally, much less attempt to work inside Mexico or become politically active. (Hanson, BTW, is named for a friend of his dad, Victor Davis, a Marine KIA on Okinawa. ~Bob)

Video worth viewing: Democrat to Obama: Visit the border
Excerpt: Two lawmakers from Texas share their experiences of visiting the overflowing detention centers for illegal immigrants near the Mexico border. They are urging President Obama to visit the border and see the conditions firsthand.

The border crisis is a no-win situation for Obama. Here’s proof. B y Aaron Blake
Excerpt: (Democrat Congressman) Cuellar has a far different take. He took to MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports" on Wednesday to implore Obama to visit the border during his visit to Texas this week. And Cuellar didn't ask nicely; instead he criticized Obama for having drinks with Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) on Tuesday and suggested that showing up just a few hundred miles from the border without visiting it would be "aloof." "When he is shown playing pool in Colorado, drinking a beer, and he can't even go 242 miles to the Texas border?" Cuellar said. (Cuellar is in the video in the above piece. ~Bob)

California Couple Says They Were Asked to House Immigrant Children
Excerpt: We live in Southern California, and we're Catholic, active Catholics in our community, and there was a town hall meeting last evening, emergency meeting called by our local parish priest, ordered by our bishop (unintelligible) and the Archdiocese of San Bernardino. They have made the decision that they're going to absorb the immigrants that are coming through because the federal government called the bishop's office on Monday and they're gonna be busing these immigrants to our communities and asking us to open our homes and to house them for up to a month. The church will reimburse us for any out-of-pocket expenses and we were told not to talk to anybody about it, especially the media. (Open your homes to scabies, TB, venereal diseases, potential gang members, swine flu. Oh, and remember, per regime spokesperson, “Jesus was an immigrant.” --Barb)

Illegal Unaccompanied Minors Being Held For Placement in U.S. Admit to Engaging in Torture and Murder. By Katie Pavlich
Excerpt: With the system being overwhelmed, Border Patrol agents are concerned about minors who have admitted to being MS-13 members, a brutal street gang from El Salvador that has been successful in infiltrating American communities. Agents are also concerned about minors who have committed acts like torture and murder in their home countries before heading north to the United States. "We have six minors in Nogales who have admitted to killing and doing grievous bodily injuries...." (And the smart ones kept their mouths shut. How many will you take in? ~Bob)

Excerpt: Reuters published these two photos from President Obama’s meeting with Texas Gov. Rick Perry Wednesday. …In the two photos, Gov. Perry and his team appear to be taking the moment seriously. President Obama is grinning and laughing. (Yeah, he is quoted as saying he “Does not want photo-ops,” yet offered Gov. Perry a tarmac handshake moment so he would be screwed with a photo-op….which Gov Perry declined. Amazing how Alinsky methods work for this dude. The endangerment of the citizens of the US is sure funny as hell. Obvious who is savoring the moment…real payback, eh? Heard a black man from NC on a national talk show the other day say that this “mulatto” POTUS is “trafficking in children.” --Barb)

Illegal Minors and MS13. From The Patriot Post
The Border Patrol says the flood of thousands of illegal minors across the southern border isn't merely a troop of sweet kindergartners, but gangster traffickers and enforcers of Mara Salvatrucha -- known as MS13. Border Patrol agents say MS13 graffiti has been found in the area, as have gang members themselves. "We have six minors in Nogales who have admitted to killing and doing grievous bodily injuries. One admitted to killing as young as eight years old," an agent told Townhall.com's Katie Pavlich. "They are being held for placement in the U.S." MS13 is heavily involved in human trafficking, with profits of reportedly $7,000 a head to smuggle people across the border. The truly innocent children sent across the border end up as collateral damage.

Mark Levin: Cesar Chavez Believed Embracing Illegal Immigration Wasn't 'Compassionate.' By Tony Lee
Excerpt: Conservative scholar and talk radio host Mark Levin reminded Americans, including left-wing liberals and even some Republicans, that the late labor leader Cesar Chavez did not think it was compassionate to enable and encourage illegal immigration.

Obama’s Immigration Lawyers’ Enrichment Act. By Michelle Malkin
http://michellemalkin.com/2014/07/09/obamas-immigration-lawyers-enrichment-act/
Excerpt: The American Dream is dying for tens of millions of unemployed, underemployed and long-term jobless citizens. But the White House has guaranteed that one sector of the U.S. economy will thrive for decades to come: Open-borders immigration lawyers.

The Immigration No-Brainer. By Charles Krauthammer
Excerpt: As is his wont, President Obama is treating the border crisis – more than 50,000 unaccompanied children crossing illegally – as a public relations problem. Where to photo op and where not. He still hasn’t enunciated a policy. He may not even have one.
Will these immigrants be allowed to stay? Seven times was Obama’s homeland security secretary asked this on “Meet the Press.” Seven times he danced around the question.

Obama Puts Politics First, Border Security Second. By Jonah Goldberg
Excerpt: “In Columbia (sic), Rising Violence Breeds New Doubts” (N.Y. Times); “Guatemala Seen Slipping Into a Haven For Drugs” (LA Times); “Democracy Jeopardized as New Wave of Violence Sweeps Guatemala” (AP); “The Volcano That is Guatemala” (St. Louis Post-Dispatch); “A New Dark Age for Latin America?” (Miami Herald); “Murder Soars in El Salvador” (Washington Post); “Social Breakdown Turns Deadly in Guatemala” (Washington Post); “Roadside Rampage: Salvadoran Murders in Guatemala Raise Stake of Central American Drug-Addled Violence” (States News Service); “Drug Cartels Take Toll on Guatemala’s Politics” (Atlanta Journal-Constitution). No wonder we have so many refugees at our door. Except there’s one hitch: All of these headlines are very old. The first is from 1987, the last from 2007. And yet, over those two decades, we never saw anything like what we are seeing today.

Poll: Three in Five Want Illegal Immigrant Kids Sent Back Home. By Tony Lee
Excerpt: Three in five Americans believe the illegal immigrant children flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border "should be ordered to leave the U.S." according to a recent poll. (Obama said, "And ultimately, if you got a majority of folks who believe in something, then it should be able to pass." But in case after case, he blocks the will of the majority of Americans in homage to his left wing base. {Obamacare, Keystone, late term abortions--you can create a long list] ~Bob)

Worth Reading: Remember When Democrats Booted Parentless Hispanic Children From the U.S.? By Humberto Fontova
Excerpt: And yet it was (then) Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder who concocted the “legal” cover for the INS to mace, kick, stomp, and gun-butt their way into the home of Elian Gonzalez’s legal custodians (legal U.S. citizens and residents all) on the morning of April 22, 2000, wrench a bawling 6-year-old child from his family at machine-gun point and bundle him off to Castro’s terror-sponsoring fiefdom, leaving 102 people (legal U.S. citizens and residents all) injured, some seriously.

Religion of Peace News

Worth Reading: Hamas Bombing Civilians, Using Gazans as Human Shields
Excerpt: Hamas' policy of deliberately targeting civilians in indiscriminate aerial attacks breaches the Fourth Geneva Convention, created, as it says in its preamble "for the purpose of establishing a Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War." It was signed in the aftermath of World War II in order to prevent a repeat of some of the atrocities seen during that war, in particular the carpet-bombing of cities such as Coventry (by the Germans) and Dresden (by the British). (The only way to stop them using civilians as shields is to show it doesn't work, Tough on the civilians at first, but saves lives in the long run. ~Bob)

A Game Changer in Gaza. By Daniel Greenfield
Excerpt: That doesn’t sound like much of a deal, but these kinds of wars have bought more peace than the peace process ever did. The peace process led to wars. The wars lead to a temporary peace. This status quo became the mainstream choice ever since Israelis figured out that the peace process wasn’t going to work and that their leaders weren’t about to defy the UN, the US, the UK and all the other U’s by actually destroying the terrorists.

Terror plot targeting Eiffel Tower, Louvre foiled, French police say
Excerpt: French authorities revealed they arrested a 29-year-old Algerian butcher living in southern France June 2013, after they found coded messages between him and a high-ranking Al Qaeda member discussing how “to conduct jihad in the place you are currently,” according to Le Parisien.

Excerpt: In Canada today, helping Muslim girls is “racist.” Edmonton Transit last year caved in to Islamic supremacist demands and took down bus ads sponsored by my organization, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), offering help to Muslim girls who were living in fear of honor killing. But we are fighting back. We’ve initiated a court action to defend free speech – which is supposed to be protected by the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. (Better that the girls die than that the bureaucrats be labeled racist, non-PC and not multi-cultural. After all, a cultures that allows a girl to be murdered by hr family for speaking to a strange man is equally valid to ours. ~Bob)

ISLAM’S IN LOVE: Obama Has A 72% Approval Among Muslims
Excerpt: This isn’t too surprising considering the President’s foreign policy of appeasement. If I were Muslim, I’d be happy too! Check it out….President Barack Obama’s approval rating is higher among Muslims than any other religious group, a new poll says.

Muslims Rape Christian Women - 600 Christians Take Up Arms And Make One Final And Heroic Stand Against Muslim Jihadists. By Theodore Shoebat
Excerpt: After so much rape has been done against Christian women in Iraq, 600 Christians in Iraq have now taken up arms to make one final stand against Muslim Jihadists, members of the ISIS terrorist group, at the frontiers of the Christian settlement of Bartella on the outskirts of Mosul.

The Washington Post Distorts the Truth. By Steven Emerson

Excerpt: In today's Washington Post print edition, a headline blares, "Netanyahu rules out Gaza Cease Fire." But in fact, as a Reuters dispatch this morning shows, it is Hamas that is preventing a cease fire. Rather than stop firing dozens of rockets at Israeli civilians each day, Hamas terrorists vow to up the ante. "The armed wing of the Hamas movement has decided to respond to the Israeli aggression, and we warn you against carrying out flights to Ben-Gurion airport, which will be one of our targets today because it also hosts a military air base," the Islamist group's Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement cited by Reuters.
