Amazon Reader Review: More Grabowski's, please! By C. Nagle
The publisher's review says this novella is "...an old Marine's lessons on life, love and giving. You will want to read it more than once, and give copies to those special people you care about." and it is exactly right. I am a long time correspondent with the author, and a subscriber to his blog. Knowing him as I do, I am certain that much of the novella is based on his personal experience. He knew Eddie Grabowski, perhaps by another name, and has met the other characters in the story. It is a straightforward tale, easy to read, and the ending will be predictable to many. Nevertheless, the novella deserves 5 stars because it is a story that is heartwarming at a time when there is little warmth in the world. You will like Eddie Grabowski and his friends, and you will want to introduce them to your friends and family by giving them a copy. It is easy to do, especially since the author contributes all proceeds to the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Get it, and meet Eddie. (Chet Nagle is a Naval Aviator, former CIA agent and author of the frightening terrorism thrillers The Iran Covenant and The Woolsorter's Plague. Iran Covenant ~Bob)

Worth Reading: Memo to The White House - For the President. By Andy Weddington
Excerpt: But since witnessing and thinking about your out-of-doors appearance at the White House earlier this week, the only words that do not escape me are, "You look ridiculous. You look beneath a United States president."

Hoax: Swedish Man 'Dies After Having Sex With Hornet’s Nest'
Excerpt: The bizarre story of a man who died after trying to have sex with a hornet's nest has been exposed as a hoax. (Okay, I withdraw the Darwin Award. But have a different award for the person who created the hoax. ~Bob.)

Piers Morgan: Now I See U.S. Government Tyranny
Excerpt: Now - after learning of the Obama administration's involvement in the IRS' targeting of conservative groups and its secret seizure of Associated Press phone records - the CNN host admitted to guest Penn Jillette that perhaps gun advocates were right about creeping tyranny after all:

Excerpt: Testifying before the House Ways and Means Committee Friday, acting IRS commissioner Steven Miller was unable to answer whether it was appropriate for the IRS to inquire about the prayers of an organization seeking 501(c)(3) status. Illinois Republican Rep. Aaron Schock pushed Miller for answers about some of the pro-life organizations the IRS reportedly targeted when the groups sought tax-exempt status. ….“Mr. Chairman, I have with me a 150-page document given to me by the Thomas More Society detailing a number of pro-life organizations throughout the country which in application  for 501(c)(3) status were given horrible instances of IRS abuse of power, political and religious bias, and a repression of their Constitutional rights,” Schock said, submitting the documents to the IG for Tax Administration.

Iraq: Bombs targeting Sunnis claim at least 76 lives
Didn't get the memo. ~Bob. Excerpt: Bombs struck Sunni areas in Baghdad and surrounding areas Friday, killing at least 76 people in the deadliest day in Iraq in two months, officials said. The surge in violence has raised fears the country could be on the path to a new round of sectarian bloodshed.

US Naval Academy Instructor Teaching On Behalf Of US Muslim Brotherhood
Excerpt: According to promotional material, a United States Naval Academy professor is teaching on behalf of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), a part of the US Muslim Brotherhood and where global Brotherhood leader Youssef Qaradawi reportedly serves as a trustee.

Didn't get the memo. ~Bob. Excerpt: A Nigerian Christian leader was killed when suspected Muslim militants burst into his home and shot him, as the religious fighting in Africa’s most populous nation continues to worsen. Two members of Islamic militant group Boko Haram shot Faye Pama Mysa, a Pentecostal pastor and secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria, in his home Wednesday, according to multiple reports.

New York says breaks cigarette-smuggling ring linked to militants
Excerpt: Fifteen men of Palestinian origin have been arrested on charges of running a multi-million-dollar cigarette smuggling ring in New York, and New York authorities who announced the arrests on Thursday said several of the suspects have ties to Hamas and other Islamist militant groups.

Student Rejected for Diversity Post Because He is “White.” By Todd Starnes
Excerpt: A Northwestern University student was rejected for a “diversity and inclusion post” in student government because he is a white, heterosexual male, resulting in a sharp rebuke from the university’s student newspaper.

IRS Told Pro-Life Group Not to Picket Planned Parenthood. By Todd Starnes
Excerpt: The Internal Revenue Service allegedly told an Iowa pro-life group they had to sign documents promising not to protest or picket Planned Parenthood and they told a Texas pro-life organization they had to promote abortion, according to documents obtained by Fox News.

Obama, IRS and Eric Holder: The Axis of Hear No Evil, See No Evil. By John Ransom
Excerpt: You know the people I’m talking about. The Know-Nothings. You know the folks who pushed that one law regarding almost 20 percent of the entire economy before they even read the bill? The ones who rushed it into law just to see what was in it? The ones who managed to write a bill, while still not being familiar with what the bill actually did? Yeah, those guys? The Know-Nothings. Well, they know nothing about a lot of other stuff too.

Worth Reading: 20 Reasons To Dislike The Democrat Party. By John Hawkins
Excerpt: 5) The Democrat Party's slogan in 1868: "This is a white man’s country: Let white men rule."

Shocking: Study Admits Income Taxes Penalize Growth. By Daniel J. Mitchell
Excerpt: Now that there’s no ambiguity about my overall position, I can admit that the OECD isn’t always on the wrong side. Much of the bad policy comes from its committee system, which brings together bureaucrats from member nations. The OECD also has an economics department, and they sometimes produce good work. Most recently, they produced a report on the Swiss tax system that contains some very sound analysis – including a rejection of Obama-style class warfare and a call to lower income tax burdens.

'It made him look like a butler': Retired general blasts President Obama for ordering U.S. Marine to break military rules by holding an umbrella
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2325893/President-Obama-makes-U-S-Marine-break-rules-does-look-happy-it.html
Excerpt: President Obama humiliated the marine who he asked to hold his umbrella by making him ‘look like a butler’, a respected military general claimed today. Thomas McInerney, a former United States Air Force Lieutenant General, said that the President showed a ‘lack of respect’ by making the soldier shelter him from a shower. (What do you expect from a guy who calls a Navy medical person a "corpse man." ~Bob.)

Obama breaches Marine umbrella protocol
Excerpt: The commander in chief of the American armed forces today forced a violation of Marine Corps regulations, so he wouldn’t get wet. According to Marine Corps regulation MCO P1020.34F of the Marine Corps Uniform Regulations chapter 3, a male Marine is not allowed to carry an umbrella while in uniform. There is no provision in the Marine Corps uniform regulation guidelines that allows a male Marine to carry an umbrella. Nevertheless, during a press conference under a light drizzle with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan this morning, President Obama allowed the First Head to be protected from the elements by an umbrella held by a male Marine corporal. (There are few things more elitist, more arrogant, than having someone you view as a menial stand in the rain to hold an umbrella over you so you stay dry. Wouldn't matter who it was. ~Bob.)

The New Science of Giving.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/the-new-science-of-giving-212647170.html
Excerpt: The Arnolds, who call themselves "independent-minded Democrats," say they don't have political motivations and even hired Denis Calabrese, a former Republican operative, to run their foundation and build its strategy. John says they only donate "where the politics start to meet in the middle." Don't tell that to Houston teachers, who consider the couple Public Enemy No. 1 due to their efforts on pension reform and more rigorous evaluations of educators.

Bill Maher: GOP guilty of ‘treason’; Michael Moore: ‘They hate America
http://dailycaller.com/2013/05/18/bill-maher-gop-guilty-of-treason-michael-moore-they-hate-america/#ixzz2TfVdYYWZ
Excerpt: On Friday’s “Real Time” on HBO, two of the most prominent liberal personalities, Bill Maher and Michael Moore, said the Republican Party’s opposition to President Barack Obama at almost every turn amounts to anti-American criminality. According to Maher, the show’s host, House Republicans’ efforts to repeal Obama’s health care reform and Senate Republicans’ blocking of his judicial nominations go beyond loyal opposition and could rise to the level of treason. (Drank the Kool-Aid…or have had the robochips imbedded. --Barb. So the Senate can consent, but not consenting is treason? Kind of like some other countries where it's death to vote against the leader. No one hates America like Moore does. Buy him a double bacon cheeseburger. ~Bob.)

Excerpt: The outgoing leader of the Internal Revenue Service drew audible “wows” from Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday for saying he doesn’t think what the agency did to tea party groups was illegal. “It is absolutely not illegal,” Steve Miller, the acting commissioner of the IRS who resigned this week because of the scandal, said while being questioned by Georgia Rep. Tom Price.

Disabled Veterans Have Checks Stolen By IRS
Excerpt: I kindly read the federal code mentioned above to the lady I spoke with at the IRS, reminding her that VA disability money is 100% exempt. She placed me on hold for another age (I could see a man coming- bearing water- over the horizon) and then she came back on the line and told me, “We do not take veterans’ disability money. We wait until the funds are deposited from the VA and then we take all of the funds from your bank account.” (So they are just taking the banks money, right? Although lost somewhere in the bank his disability money is safe and secure, right? --MM)

IRS Sued For Allegedly Seizing Medical Records of 60 Million Americans
Excerpt: An unnamed California healthcare provider is suing the embattled Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and 15 agents for allegedly seizing 60,000,000 medical records belonging to “more than 10,000,000 Americans, including at least 1,000,000 Californians.” The complaintposted by National Review, states that IRS agents’ search warrant for financial information did “not authorize any seizure of any healthcare or medical record of any persons, least of all third parties completely unrelated to the matter.” The medical records reportedly included sensitive private information about individuals’ gynecological counseling, sexual and drug treatment, and psychological services received. (This is the danger of regime and Obamacare. And they gave Lerner a bonus and put her in charge of Obamacare…who headed IRS section during targeting. If you don’t have “the mark”…..Barb)

IRS, Labor Department Audit Businessman on Obama’s Enemies List
http://blog.heritage.org/2012/07/21/irs-labor-department-audit-businessman-on-obamas-enemies-list/
Excerpt: VanderSloot is now facing persecution from the federal government. Kimberly Strassel reveals in The Wall Street Journal that two federal agencies — the Internal Revenue Service and Labor Department — both launched investigations of VanderSloot after his name appeared on Obama’s enemies list. (Let's connect some dots here. Obama, thousands of new IRS agents to enforce Obamacare, Obama's unconstitutional appointments to the NLRB, both the Labor Department and the IRS auditing and intimidating those that disagree with Obama's agenda. --MM)

More Marines holding umbrellas for Obama than defending the embassy in Benghazi

This Is No Ordinary Scandal: Political abuse of the IRS threatens the basic integrity of our government.
Excerpt: We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they're seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, probably irretrievably damaged. They don't look jerky now, they look dirty. The patina of high-mindedness the president enjoyed is gone.

Nigel Farage and Scotland's Left-wing media mafia. By Tom Gallagher
Excerpt: It might be some consolation for the British nationalist to know that he is in step with a lot of Scots. Radio 4’s Today has at least as many listeners in Scotland as Good Morning Scotland. Shrill presenters and amateur programme-making has led to a mass desertion of listeners despite the quickening pace of politics as Scotland decides whether to opt for a post-British future.

The Expulsion of the Moors. By Mike Konrad.
http://www.americanthinker.com/2013/05/the_expulsion_of_the_moors.html#ixzz2TgaBiiu2 Excerpt: By 1609, Spain had had enough. Though some nobles suggested giving [the Muslims] more time to assimilate, it was obvious that after a hundred years most were not going to do so. Others among the aristocracy wanted them as a source of cheap labor; but again, their demographic threat was considerable.

Excerpt: I also seem to be a "big fish in a small pond". My page views average about 10,000 per month. That is far above the average. Here's how the blogging experts grade the small guys like me: “Up and Coming”: 500 unique visitors each month (16 visitors a day/1100 page views month) “Loyal Following”: 3500 unique visitors each month (112 visitors a day, 10,000 page views per month) “Popular Blogger”: 15,000 unique visitors each month (483 visitors a day, 45,000 page views per month) So, as you can see, my page views indicate that my blog is three times the rate for a "loyal following" and I'm about 75% of the way toward achieving "popular blogger" status. Some months I achieve that goal, especially when one of my blog entries go "semi-viral". I've exceeded 20,000 page views in a month three times since I began. (I frequently link to pieces on "Lost in America." He's an excellent writer, should be a professional pundit. Worth reading. ~Bob.)

Worth Reading: The Bipartisan Folly of Our Islam Delusion. By Michael Youssef
Excerpt: There is one area in particular where it is hard to find the truth spoken by either Republicans or Democrats: namely, this whole idea that Muslim people yearn for democracy. It is a glaring short-sightedness that both sides hold in common. To be sure, many of my Muslim friends long for Western-style democracy and freedom. But they are always thwarted (and always will be) by the majority view. That is why even those friends of mine would admit that democracy is incompatible with Islamic ideology.

‘Joe’s Law’: Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s Strategy to Derail Amnesty for Illegals Enrages the Left. By John Hill
Excerpt: Sheriff Joe Arpaio is facing an unprecedented campaign to recall him from office. This follows a re-election campaign last year which saw unprecedented amounts spent on both sides, as George Soros committed $10 million to oust “America’s Sheriff”. Joe was forced to spend his entire ‘war chest’ of $8 million to (barely) hold onto office – the closest race of his career. Why? Why is the Left in America so focused on a single county’s Sheriff, and willing to spend Congressional-level funds to defeat him? Well for starters, Sheriff Joe is the biggest national symbol in the fight against illegal immigration. (Well, we can't have sheriffs running around actually enforcing the law. If that caught on, what would happen to Chicago and other cities? ~Bob.)

Nigeria: Islamic jihad group says hostage women and children will be treated as slaves
Excerpt: Kidnapping infidels and releasing them for ransom or killing them, as well as enslaving them if that option is deemed most advantageous for the Muslims, is fully sanctioned in Islamic law: "As for the captives, the amir [ruler] has the choice of taking the most beneficial action of four possibilities: the first to put them to death by cutting their necks; the second, to enslave them and apply the laws of slavery regarding their sale and manumission; the third, to ransom them in exchange for goods or prisoners; and fourth, to show favor to them and pardon them. Allah, may he be exalted, says, 'When you encounter those [infidels] who deny [the Truth=Islam] then strike [their] necks' (Qur'an sura 47, verse 4)" — Abu’l-Hasan al-Mawardi, al-Ahkam as-Sultaniyyah (The Laws of Islamic Governance), trans. by Dr. Asadullah Yate, (London), Ta-Ha Publishers Ltd., 1996, p. 192. The Qur'an allows for the owning of sex slaves:

Anti-Christian Hostility High in Zanzibar as Tanzania Mainland also Heats Up
Excerpt: Islamic extremist attacks and land grabs on this semi-autonomous island off the coast of Tanzania have continued unabated even as violence has increased on the mainland.

Afghanistan: Pro-Sharia lawmakers block law criminalizing child marriage and banning prosecution of rape victims for adultery
Excerpt: This AP story uses "conservative" to refer to the pro-Sharia Muslims who blocked this women's rights law. That's in accord with common journalistic practice, which refers to religious people of any religion as "conservative" and to more secular types as "liberal." The common journalistic practice runs into a contradiction, however, with the global alliance between Islamic supremacists and the forces of the Left. That leads the mainstream media to term opponents of Sharia "right-wing" and even "far-right," their all-purpose term to semaphore to readers that we are bad people and decent folks should stay away from us. But that means that in the U.S., opponents of Sharia are "conservatives," while in Afghanistan, proponents of Sharia are "conservatives." If ever (and this will never happen) a counter-jihad, anti-Sharia movement arose in Afghanistan, AP's collective head would explode. Anyway, note that the Sharia supremacists block a law banning child marriage. This is because Muhammad consummated his marriage with Aisha when he was 54 and she was 9, and he is the supreme example for conduct (cf. Qur'an 33:21), so his example is normative and cannot be questioned. (Jihadwatch.org is a must follow. ~Bob.)

Moroccan jailed for Milan synagogue bomb plot
Didn't get the memo. ~Bob. Excerpt: A 22-year-old Moroccan man has been sentenced to more than five years in prison for planning terrorist attacks on Milan’s main synagogue and Jewish school.

Not to minimize terrorism, but illegals kill every day
Per FBI stats, Mexicans are the demographic with the highest number of DUI arrests. It is part of machismo. It makes some of them feel important for a moment. Please don't let your senator vote for amnesty. --Don Hank

Moon Explosion Sparked By Meteorite Crash On Lunar Surface, NASA Says (VIDEO)
Excerpt: Scientists deduced the rock had been roughly 1-foot-wide (between 0.3 to 0.4 meters) and weighted about 88 lbs (40 kg).The explosion it created was as powerful as 5 tons of TNT, NASA scientists said. When researchers looked back at their records from March, they found that the moon meteor might not have been an isolated event. (The video and voice-over is from NASA, the print coverage by HuffPo is based on NASA’s press release. At about 18 miles per second, the object’s weight isn’t all that important; a snowflake moving that fast would have enough force to penetrate a tank’s armor and kill the crew. We may live in a dangerous universe, but it’s the only one we have. Ron P. Actually, I'm thinking of moving out. ~Bob.)

excerpt: It was announced Friday afternoon, when no one was supposed to pay attention: after years of controversy, heated rhetoric, intense lobbying, and stiff opposition from some unlikely bedfellows, with multinational industrial and chemical companies weighing down one side of the bed, and environmentalists tossing and turning on the other, the Obama Administration decided in favor of the US oil and gas industry. With geopolitical ramifications. (Despite his atrocious behavior, Obama could preside over a much better economy this term. If I had a few extra bucks, I might invest in some of the LNG transport. --Don Hank)

A Culture of Intimidation: If Barack Obama didn’t directly order the harassment of his political enemies, he certainly encouraged it.
Excerpt: Similarly, while we still don’t know what the White House knew and when it knew it (and the president’s non-responsive answer to a question that wasn’t asked on Thursday not only failed to clarify the issue, but increased cause for suspicion), the administration certainly created an environment in which IRS functionaries might have thought it was their job to go after his political enemies. If they weren’t doing literally to them what the Abu Ghraib rogue soldiers were doing to individual Iraqi’s fundaments, they were certainly doing it figuratively. This is particularly true because by the very nature of their job, and the ideology of the limited-government groups, many of the IRS employees probably viewed them as their own political adversaries. (The only resolution is to prosecute those involved, see if a plea deal will make them sing. DOJ will move heaven and earth to prevent that. ~Bob.)

Excerpt: It seems Ms. Abedin, accurately described by the New York Times as Hillary Rodham Clinton’s ”longtime aide and confidante,” spent her last months at the State Department not really at the State Department….While the State Department was paying her $135,000 as a “special government employee,” Abedin was also permitted to moonlight as a “strategic consultant” for Teneo, a firm founded by Doug Band, a former adviser to President Bill Clinton…..Apparently not to the great delight of the Clintons, Weiner, as part of his effort to come back from his virtual sex scandal and maybe make a run for New York City mayor, decided to release the couple’s 2012 tax returns. (Per author, records show double dipping plus Weiner’s income made “just shy of a half-million dollars last year.” --Barb)

Excerpt: President Obama continues to insist that he first became aware of his IRS targeting conservative groups a week ago Friday when the news first broke. This, despite the fact that his White House counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, had been informed of the probe on April 22. …The inspector general gave Republicans some fodder Friday when he divulged that he informed the Treasury’s general counsel he was auditing the I.R.S.’s screening of politically active groups seeking tax exemptions on June 4, 2012.

Excerpt: In the parade of United Nations absurdities, here comes Iran’s four-week presidency of the UN Conference on Disarmament — an arrangement that the U.S. Mission to the UN has described as “unfortunate and inappropriate,” and Hillel Neuer of UN Watch has more accurately compared to “putting Jack the Ripper in charge of a women’s shelter.” But should anyone be surprised? This is how the UN works.

Excerpt: Subjected to criminal prosecution for homeschooling their six children, Uwe and Hannelore Romeike fled Germany in 2008. U.S. Immigration Judge Lawrence O. Burman granted the family asylum in 2010, only to see his decision overturned in 2012 after it was targeted directly by the Obama administration. On Tuesday, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the administration’s denial of asylum granted to the Romeike family. Fox News reported: “The Obama administration is basically saying there is no right to home school anywhere,” said Michael Farris, founder of the Home School Legal Defense Association. “It’s an utter repudiation of parental liberty and religious liberty.” (Video) (Hear a splash in NY harbor? The Statue of Liberty just collapsed. Regime ready to take ownership of your children and fill their heads with government manuals for study material in gov schools….These folks are white Germans….but if they were bros….or relatives in violation of their visas, why, the welcome mat would roll out indefinitely, as it has. --Barb)

Obama, the Betrayer: Democrats discovering what the right has known about Obama since the beginning.
Excerpt: The right noticed long ago that Obama is a cold fish and an arrogant loner, a man willing to abandon longtime mentors in the blink of an eye if need be (think Jeremiah Wright). It never seemed as though Democrats cared, though, as long as Obama served their purposes and they served his….What they haven’t yet learned is the significance of another major part of the Obama resume, which is that he does not operate on the usual political system of “you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.” Instead, he’s just as likely to thank you by sticking a shiv (metaphorically speaking, that is) in your back.

MasterCard to Power Nigerian Identity Card Program: 13 Million Cards to be issued first, in largest card rollout of its kind in Africa
Excerpt: The Nigerian National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and MasterCard today announced at the World Economic Forum on Africa the roll-out of 13 million MasterCard-branded National Identity Smart Cards with electronic payment capability as a pilot program. The National Identity Smart Card is the Card Scheme under the recently deployed National Identity Management System (NIMS). …. As part of the program, in its first phase, Nigerians 16 years and older, and all residents in the country for more than two years, will get the new multipurpose identity card which has 13 applications including MasterCard’s prepaid payment technology that will provide cardholders with the safety, convenience and reliability of electronic payments.

Did Obama’s Media Market Bubble Burst? by John Daly
Excerpt: It sure has been interesting over the past week to watch the news media finally approach the Obama administration with the one tactic many of us thought they’d never use in their coverage: Some good old fashioned scrutiny. Despite showing up to the game way late on Benghazi, many in the mainstream media are actually now demonstrating some genuine interest in challenging the staggering discrepancies between the government’s talking points on the topic and what actually happened on September 11th, 2012.

Traffic Stop (Video of shooting)
Shooting took place in March. Middlefield, OH. Female officer lost her left index finger (had a month on that Dept). Male officer had slight injuries, and is back on the job. Bad guy fired 37 rounds from AK-47 and died at the scene. The bad guy was pulled over for running a stop sign. He had another 8 mags for the AK with 40 rounds each, books, DVD's on improvised explosives, etc. He had no criminal record. (Nice work by these cops.)

Excerpt: The middle class American worker is in danger of becoming an endangered species. The politicians are not telling you the truth, and the mainstream media is certainly not telling you the truth, but the reality is that there is nothing but bad news on the horizon for workers in the United States. (Lucky we will still be able to borrow from China to pay for food stamps and Obama Phones. ~Bob.)

Estacada farmworker resentenced in robbery, shooting death of foreman
Illegal Alien Convicted Of Murder In Oregon Gets Away With It When Resentenced Thanks To Liberal D.A. In--That's Right--A Plea Bargain (my non-p.c. version of title) -- Dave Levine. Just looking for a better way of life. Remember: The Gang of 8 -- incl Sens. McCain, Flake, Rubio and Graham -- wants to pardon every alien who illegally broke into our country. Polls show their constituents are opposed to this, but they don't represent the people who voted for them. They are in the pockets of the Chamber of Commerce and Big Ag. But of course, they are being falsely portrayed as heroes who are going up against the Dems on the Benghazi cover-up. The real heroes are the whistleblowers, bloggers and talk show hosts who dared to expose this from the start--back when these 'heroes' had their heads stuck deep in the sand (that's putting it very nicely). --Don Hank

WH: ‘Irrelevant’ Where Obama Was During Benghazi Attacks
Excerpt: On Fox News Sunday this morning, White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer was asked by Chris Wallace where in the White House President Obama was during the September 11, 2012 terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed four Americans. …Finally, Wallace asked whether Obama was in the Situation Room. “I don’t remember what room the President was in on that night,” shot back Pfeiffer, “and that’s a largely irrelevant fact.” Wallace continued to press the point, and Pfeiffer continued to evade.

WH: Legality Of IRS Action Against Conservatives ‘Irrelevant’
Excerpt: Appearing on Sunday morning on ABC News’ This Week, White House Senior Adviser Dan Pfeiffer told a credulous George Stephanopoulos that the IRS’ targeting of conservative groups was “inexcusable,” and that the law with regard to the activity was “irrelevant.” “I can’t speak to the law here,” he said. “The law is irrelevant. (Between Holder fixing elections, allowing BP intimidation again, throwing out licensed poll watchers, holding elections in rooms with Obama’s graven image emblazoned on the walls, over 100% of precincts turning out for regime without a single opposing vote recorded, people in foreign countries making donations to his campaign and integrity of donations never audited, then opposing voices stonewalled by government union agencies….well, I just noted all the surveillance cameras on US 90 on every stoplight in my city—not there before—and now CBS news is telling me this bull…that the “government is limited in how it can use face recognition cameras.” Pishtocky. Do not know who licensed, voted or authorized but Big Bro is here with an iron fist. It is payback time for the “folks.” I’m sure this is irrelevant. --Barb)

Irony Alert: Obama to black graduates: Don’t use racism as an excuse
And the award for most hilarious irony goes to... Tom H. Excerpt: Speaking at an historically black college President Obama said Sunday he sometimes blamed his youthful failings on racism and urged the all-male class of graduates to look up to black male role models such a filmmaker Spike Lee. Protected by a canopy in a steady rain at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Mr. Obama told the drenched graduates and their families that they can’t afford to use “the bitter legacy of slavery and segregation” as an excuse for any shortcomings. (Racism is reserved for opponents of progressive policies. But look up to Spike Lee? Not Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Walter Williams, Mayor Mia Love, or Sen. Tim Scott? I notice he had to make do with a canopy. Where were the Marine flunkies to hold his umbrella? ~Bob.)

Increase in doctors’ pay for Medicaid services off to a slow start
Excerpt: The Obama administration’s strategy of enticing more primary-care doctors to treat the poor by raising Medicaid reimbursement rates is off to a slow start. Only a handful of states, including Maryland, have begun paying doctors at the higher rates, which average a 73 percent increase nationally.

Excerpt: What happens to everyone in the ruling Elites and those desperately trying to join the ruling Elites when the debt-serfs stop paying and the tax donkeys drift away to lower-cost, lower-income lifestyles? ... Once you opt out of debt and excess consumption, you need a lot less money to live; that means one can work less and have more time for family, gardening, self-cultivation, entrepreneural enterprises, etc. For many, the cash economy and generous state benefits beckon. I am not recommending any particular lifestyle or set of choices here, I am simply stating what can easily be observed in any developed nation should you remove the mainstream media/state propaganda blinders: people are earning their livelihood in the informal cash economy, avoiding VAT and sales taxes, and many are drawing some sort of state benefit for one reason or another: unemployment, disability, early retirement, etc.
