The Left’s Doomed Crusade to Erase Gender Differences
Part of the PC craziness being carried way out there. The article doesn't mention that in Sweden many teachers tell small boys they must sit down to urinate, rather than standing, since that is a gender differentiation that needs to be minimized. The writer makes a great point- on hand, supposedly kids should not be taught any gender differences, but on the other, if a child born with one kind of genitalia decides even at an early age that they are reall of the other gender, they must be respected. This where two different PC ideas clash, but no one is supposed to notice. Certainly teaching boys to be civilized and girls to be assertive is an important thing in a modern Western society, but trying to wipe out all differences is really, really stupid. --Del
