It's a blustery, icy night here. (The wind ripped out one of the grommets on my USMC flag. Which I will replace. When the weather permits. So I made a huge pot of chili. Pretty good, though needs salt due to my low salt diet. ~Bob
Bob Hall's Microwave Chili
3 lbs ground turkey
5 cans chili beans salt free
2 cans black beans salt free
1 can chopped tomatoes salt free
1 package fresh, chopped mushrooms (or large can, drained & rinsed)
1 package frozen season veg. (peppers & onions)
or 1.5 cups frozen/fresh chopped peppers & onions
1 Tablespoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon coriander
1 Teaspoon black pepper (optional)
1 Tablespoon crushed garlic or 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce
2 Tablespoons Orrington Farms beef stock low salt
Cook meat in skillet or microwave until cooked. Drain & break up in wee bits. Add everything else. Mix. Cook on 70% power for 60 minutes. May be served with elbow noodles or rice.
