Prof: Algebra, geometry perpetuate white privilege
Yep, having math skills and hearing that various "White men" invented a lot of math is a prejudicial thing. (I guess the professor skipped the inventor of algebra, a Muslim Arab? Also didn't notice we use arabic derived numerals?) This incredible focus on proving everything "White" is somehow bad has gotten to be past stupid and ridiculous and into divisive and dangerous. And that we have professors teaching it in colleges tells us that higher education has people in it who should not be allowed to teach anyone anything. --Del Actually, the Arabs borrowed Arabic Numerals from the Hindus. ~Bob
