Ronald McDonald House near children's hospital damaged during recent Chicago looting
And here's a great example of how meaningful they are. The families of very sick children had to cower inside their sanctuary of a Chicago Ronald McDonald House while the looting mob attacked the outside of the house, used hammers to smash the glass of the front door. I'm sure this honors the memory of George Floyd, and will do wonders for the entire Black community of the USA, and bring full social justice into being for everyone. Terrifying those poor family members and House staff is clearly a wonderful, positive step for social justice. Right..... I keep wondering how much further this has to go before elected officials free law enforcement up to really do their job, stop this crap before it starts, and if it does start, stop it with whatever tools and manpower it takes, arrest people and hold them for at least a few days before allowing bail, and then the system needs to come down hard in court with fines and jail time. It will take balls to stop worrying about the automatic and meaningless charges of "racist police brutality" and actually do government's first job, the protection of people and property. --Del
