11 year old girl shot in Madison

On our neighborhood e-list after an 11 year old girl was shot on East Washington, maybe 6 miles from our home. --Bob

The police are probably afraid that if they arrest someone the mayor will publicize their address and accompany a rabble to their home. When someone shots at the cop, the mayor will probably try to maintain that the cop caused the trigger to be pulled without any proof, just like that legislator in Waukesha (I think that is the city).

We are listing our house. Enough is enough. The mayor flips from supporting law enforcement to telling them not to do their job. That's helpful. You have all the super liberals (tbh, I'm normally one of them) saying to defund the police. All of that isn't helpful.

I've honestly been looking for a different way to work, as Milwaukee St/Fair Oaks/East Wash terrify me. I'm entirely focused on avoiding cars without plates, and looking where I could pull over and duck.

Additionally, whenever you stop behind another vehicle be sure to leave enough space to maneuver around the car in front of you. The rule of thumb is if you can see where the other car's rear tires
