Great Quotes From Democrats
Robert A. Hall
Bill Clinton, SOTU, January 24, 1995: “All Americans … are rightly disturbed by the large number of illegal aliens entering our country. … The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers. That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens.”
Bill Clinton, October 18, 1994: "This agreement will help achieve a longstanding and vital American objective -- an end to the threat of nuclear proliferation on the Korean Peninsula,"
Bill Clinton, October 21, 1994: “This is a good deal for the United States. North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program.”
Bill Clinton, January 26, 1998: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinski."
Barack Obama, 4/3/2006: The American people are a welcoming and generous people. But those who enter our country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law. And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders, we simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked. Americans are right to demand better border security and better enforcement of the immigration laws.
Sen. Chuck Schumer, 2009: Illegal Immigration is wrong, plain and simple… People who enter the United States without our permission are illegal aliens and illegal aliens should not be treated the same the same as people who entered the country illegally.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, 2015: Said, Open borders" was a "Koch brothers proposal…a right-wing proposal, which says essentially there is no United States."
Sanders was elected to Congress in 1990 with full support of the NRA.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, August 5, 2011, "These days, the American dream is more apt to be realized in South America, in places such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Argentina...
Clip of Obama’s verbal gaffes.
http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/37588-obama-gets-challenged-by-special-olympian/You may have missed them, as the media glossed over his errors. Many are the kind of mistakes we all make. But if Bush or Palin had made them, you’d have heard them over and over. Think “refudiate” and “misunderestimate.”
Obama, March 5, 2007: "There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don't tell me I don't have a claim on Selma,Alabama."
The Selma March took place in 1965, four years after Barack Obama was born, rather disproving his statement that his parent got together because of it.
Obama, May 8, 2007: "In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died — an entire town destroyed."
12 people died, not 10,000.
Obama, May 17, 2008: “When Kennedy met with (Soviet leader Nikita) Khrushchev, we were on the brink of nuclear war."
The problem with Obama's contention is that it is a lie. John Kennedy met Khrushchev in Vienna on June 4, 1961. At the time, many seasoned diplomats worried that the Soviet leader would be emboldened by his encounter with the young and less experienced American president. The Cuban Missile Crisis, to which Obama refers, took place in October, 1962, sixteen months after the two leaders met.
Obama, June 22, 2007: "The public will have 5 days to look at every bill that lands on my desk" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5t8GdxFYBU

Canada has a Prime Minister, not a President.
Obama, September, 2007: "If you are nominated for President in 2008 and your major opponents agree to forgo private funding in the general election campaign, will you participate in the presidential public financing system?" Obama highlighted the answer "Yes," and elaborated as follows:
McCain accepted public financing and the spending limits. Obama promised to, did not and spent far more than McCain, all raised privately. Fact Checker said: “But none of this alters the fact that he (Obama) has gone back on his word.” (His reversal probably killed public financing for good.)
Obama, November 15, 2007: Lobbyists “will not work in my White House.”
Numerous lobbyists have joined the administration.
Obama, December 20, 2007: "The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation. As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent."
On March 19, 2011, President Obama unilaterally ordered military attacks on Libya, a nation that had not recently attacked or threatened the United States, without any approval by the US Congress.

The point is, when George Bush or another Republican made a slip like this, the media piled on about how dumb they are. So why did they think Obama is brilliant?
Obama, June 28, 2008. “My father served in World War II”
Obama’s father and step father were around ten when the war ended. Clearly he meant his grandfather. This is the kind of slip of the tongue that the press plays over and over if a Republican did it.
Obama, July 9, 2008: “Now, I agree that immigrants should learn English. I agree with that. But understand this. Instead of worrying about whether immigrants can learn English — they’ll learn English — you need to make sure your child can speak Spanish. You should be thinking about, how can your child become bilingual? We should have every child speaking more than one language.”
Obama, who speaks only English, was running for President. George Bush, who was president, speaks English and Spanish.
Obama, September 12, 2008.: "Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes,"
The Obama administration raised taxes on smokers and on tanning salons, both regressive taxes which hit the poor hardest. In addition, while he argues that the PP&ACA mandated fine for not buying health insurance is not a “tax,” his Justice Department has argued in court that the government has the authority to do this under its “taxing power.” He also proposed “Cap and Trade” which would “tax” everyone’s energy use, and the PP&ACA has taxes on high end healthcare plans, many held by workers making less than $250,000.

Probably speaking the truth by accident.

Obama, February 4, 2010.:Obama Reads Word "Corpsman" as "Corpse Man" Twice
President Obama was speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast and was telling about a Navy Corpsman who assisted the suffering people ofHaiti. As anyone at all familiar with the military knows, it is pronounced “Core Man”. Unless I served in the US Marine Corpse.

Was that the railroad to France or to China? Even a dumb Texan would know we built the Transcontinental Railroad.

Slip of the tongue. Again, if Bush did this, you’d never hear the end of it.
Sen. Joe Biden, 2007: "The president has no constitutional authority to take this nation to war against a country with 70 million people unless we're attacked or unless there is proof that we're about to be attacked. If he does, I would move to impeach him"

Our federal wallet is stretched to the limit by illegal aliens getting welfare, food stamps, medical care and other benefits often without paying any taxes. Safeguards like welfare and free medical care are in place to boost Americans in need of short-term assistance. These programs were not meant to entice freeloaders and scam artists from around the world. Even worse, Americans have seen heinous crimes committed by individuals who are here illegally,"
