I know Professor Moise, and while we differ in some views of the war, he is generally a good historian, and what he points out here is all valid. I would still disagree that we pushed after Tet really hard, mining Hai Phong harbor and declaring hot pursuit into NVA bases in Laos and Cambodia would have really be the kind of escalation to hurt the enemy that would have done our cause enormous good. --Del
