superb job of adding superior perspective to an age old problem we humans all
share...disliking or not trusting that which isn't of our own culture. Thanks a
million for that terrific essay. My personal world is so "segregated by
prejudices " that I can only feel comfortable sending this to "my
like choir," which is such a shame... but when I sent your "I'm
Tired" essay on to my Sis, years ago, she stopped talking to me for almost
two years (We are back to being the fine friends we have always been), and her
daughter informed me I was "diminished" in her eyes. Keep writing and
