In them, Jeong expressed some rather interesting views of “[dumba** f***ing] white people,” musing about how much joy she gets “out of being cruel to old white men” and how “white men are [bullsh**].” For good measure she also compared white people to “groveling goblins” and questioned why they’re “genetically predisposed to burn faster in the sun.” In a statement, Jeong expressed her regret and explained that she was engaging in “counter-trolling” designed to mimic the language of racists who harassed her online.

Your tax dollars at work! Notice this is a guy hired in 2011 from the U.S. Secret Service, and the alleged repulsive behavior goes back to 2015; the article quotes officials as saying, “Many of the men and women Coleman hired were unqualified yet are still at the agency.” (Lots of unqualified workers at FEMA? Hey, what’s the worst that can happen?)

This is not a Trump scandal; this is not an Obama scandal. This is a “federal workers behaving badly, for a long time, in a way that a lot of people know and can see, with zero accountability” scandal.

A team of scientists from the United States and Mexico studied clinical encounters between patients and physicians to test shared decision-making tools. Published in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, the scientists learned of the lack of attention many doctors provide their patients. “Our results suggest that we are far from achieving patient-centered care,” Naykky Singh Ospina, an author on the study, said in a release published Thursday. The scientists analyzed 112 recorded meetings between doctors and patients at general practices in Minnesota and Wisconsin, including at the Mayo Clinic and its affiliated clinics. The scientists learned doctors only spent 11 seconds on average listening to a patient describe their reasons for visiting before interrupting. The team only counted how long it took a doctor to interrupt if the doctor first said something like “What can I do for you today?” or “Tell me what brings you in today,” allowing the patients to set the agenda of the conversation.

As recently as 1990, Ken Burns could make a Civil War documentary for PBS and let historian Shelby Foote wax eloquent on the martial prowess of Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest — something that now would likely get them both tarred, feathered, and Twitter-banned. Because real liberalism, or in my own mind, real Americanism, means staying civilized, respectful of others, tolerant of differences, open to discussion, and staying away from hateful behaviors. Until now, that information has been difficult to come by. Using our proprietary data we analyzed 91,000 student loan borrowers with graduate degrees to reveal which degrees carry the most student loan debt in relation to income after graduation.

I thought you’d appreciate this new analysis from Credible because you’ve touched on student loan debt in the past.

Here are a few highlights:

• Dentists take out the most in student loans (a whopping median of $236,739!).
• Veterinarians and optometrists devote the highest percentage of their income to student loans.
• Computer scientists, MBA holders, and nurses allocate the smallest proportion of their monthly earnings to pay down their student loan debt.
