Move Over Colin Kaepernick—This NFL Star Wears Che Guevara Cleats
Many millions of people have been taken in by the super propaganda job done about Che and that famous portrait of him as the sincere revolutionary. Of course, almost no one has ever read his own diaries, or the accounts of those who knew him, including relatives he embarassed by his flagrant sexual abuse of maids. Nor has it ever occurred to them that this "heroically brave" revolutionary surrendered to two soldiers when he and his companion were both armed, after he left the rest of his group with instructions to fight to the death. He thought his fame would prevent anything happening to him as a prisoner, but somebody decided to do for him what he'd done for so very many others, just shoot him. Then there's the myth of "equality" in Cuba, which Black Cubans can destroy so easily. But decades of unending propaganda have their effect, and while we make Bad Guys of some of our heroes, we get fooled into make Heroes out of some truly Bad Guys.--Del. Another reason--if I needed one--not to watch the NFL. ~Bob
Its even better when you find out who shot him in the face.
