The fallacy of white privilege — and how it’s corroding society

I guess that POC (Person of Color) can be interpreted to mean everyone not White, so that would bring in all Asians, Native Americans, Indians, assorted other "brown" people like Filipinos, Arabs, and of course everyone from Africa or of African descent. (Hey, what about Sicilians, they are all pretty olive-skinned?) So this young Canadian kid born in India gets to tell the real story of how things work and really are in the USA and Canada? He thinks being POC will protect him from being assailed by the PC Gestapo, but I am not sure that's a safe assumption at all. Right now they're trashing J. K. Rowling viciously, a very well known Liberal and strong feminist, simply because she says it's OK to believe there are really only two genders. But he's done a really outstanding job on this topic. Send it, if you dare, to your Liberal friends or if you are really uncaring about being permanently written off as a hopeless racist, to other POC. --Del
