WI leaf peeping a tad late

Saturday we finally had a good day when we didn't have a full schedule and felt well enough to get a drive in to see the last of the fall colors in the hills around Reedsburg, WI. The previous Saturday would have been perfect, except that Friday night I had chills and aches and spent Saturday sleeping. I believe it was a reaction to the enhanced flu shot I had Friday morning--still better than the flu would could be life threatening for me.

The countryside was as lovely as ever, though there were more russets and browns than orange and gold. Plus a lot of trees already bare. but we found a great restaurant in Okee on Lank WI. (Fitz's on the Lake), bought some cheese at the Carr valley factory, and a few Christmas Presents. In all a good day. ~Bob
