WOUNDED WARRIORS
PROJECT IS A FRAUD. By Dean M. Graham (U.S.
Army Retired, Iraq
Veteran)
Excerpt: The Wounded Warriors Project (WWP) pays millions of
dollars for commercials showing injured service members. Many were forced to
sign non-disclosure agreements (Why?). I have talked to many Veterans who were
promised many things from WWP and did not receive anything in return for the
use of their likeness in commercials and print ads. The commercials do not
mention anything WWP does to help the injured service members. Listen closely
to the commercials as they parade an injured veteran around like an injured
animal. They pay famous actors and musicians to pull on the nation’s heart
strings. Fox News takes millions in commercial revenue from WWP along with
A&E and other T.V. networks. I have written to Fox and others begging them
to investigate for themselves. I imagine they too are blocked by a
non-disclosure agreement.
Tea Party at the Crossroads: Part II. By Thomas
Sowell
Excerpt: In opposing ObamaCare, the Tea Party took a
position that increasing numbers of Americans agree with, now that ObamaCare's
potential for disaster is becoming clearer by the day. But in trying to defund
ObamaCare without the Congressional votes to do so, the Tea Party made a major
tactical mistake. Polls show that this mistake has already hurt the Republican
Party, the only party that has any chance of repealing ObamaCare.
White supremacist
takes DNA test, finds out he's literally African-American. By Matt Pearce
Excerpt: Well, that's awkward: A white supremacist who made
headlines worldwide for plotting to take over a town in North Dakota received the results of a DNA
test — and the results say he's 14 percent black. And this all happened while
cameras were rolling.
Troubled
HealthCare.gov unlikely to work fully by end of November
Excerpt: Software problems with the federal online health
insurance marketplace, especially in handling high volumes, are proving so
stubborn that the system is unlikely to work fully by the end of the month as
the White House has promised, according to an official with knowledge of the
project. (And the walls come tumbling down. ~Bob)
Fracking reverses
decline in U.S.
energy production. By H. Sterling Burnett
Excerpt: In just three short years, oil production in the United States
has nearly reversed a 20-year-long production decline. Since 2010, domestic oil
production has increased from a low of 4.5 million barrels a day to about 7.5
million barrels a day. Since summer 2011 alone, U.S. crude production has increased
2 million barrels per day. A few short years ago, many analysts argued that oil
was nearly tapped out and America
needed to plan for a post-petroleum future. What’s changed? In a word: fracking.
Excerpt: This is not simply a matter of needing more time to
solve technical problems. These issues drive the core of healthcare reform and
the lack of public support for the President’s signature accomplishment. Opponents
of the ACA see a train wreck around every bend. Supporters see victory—in the
2014 elections and in the healthcare sector. Both will be disappointed.
Failure
of Failures: Could Obamacare end up as America ’s worst domestic-policy
disaster ever? By Charles C. W.
Cooke
Excerpt: Indulge me if you will, and join me in imagining
that Obamacare has taken the calamitous path of the Hindenburg and
ended up as little more than a smoldering warning against hubris. Imagine, that
is, that enrollment rates have remained dangerously low; that the risk pools
consist largely of the elderly and the sick; that the insurance companies,
unable to operate on the magical thinking of which the White House is so fond,
are being forced either to get out of the market completely or to raise
premiums dramatically; and that skittish Democrats have started to run away —
first calling weakly for fixes, then hinting at more, and then barely resisting
the temptation to follow the trail of the pitchforks and nullify the
president’s signature achievement. Imagine, in other words, that things
are bad.
NBC's Chuck Todd:
Obama 'Does Not Believe He Lied'
Excerpt: If
Obama has convinced himself he didn't
lie, that borders on pathological. We now know that as far back as 2010 the
president knew eight to nine million people would lose their health insurance. We have him on video admitting to that: (Obama's lies to the
public are an enormous problem, but his lies to himself may be more dangerous.
-- Jim Geraghty,
Morning Jolt)
Excerpt: Here is irony: the people who talk the most about
the need for a social safety net (including the president himself!) are
cheerleaders for a health reform that is going to shred it.
How is that happening? By means of the Affordable Care Act
(ObamaCare).
George Will: Obama
continues to be surprised by his own administration
Excerpt: “He seems to think that his job as chief executive
is not to be the executive but to be angry at his own administration when it
doesn't perform well,” said the syndicated columnist and Fox News contributor.
“Fast and Furious, the IRS, Benghazi ,
NSA, investigation of our Mr. Rosen, there's just a list of things that
surprise him.”
Obama often surprised
at the results of his policies. By
Jim Geraghty, Morning Jolt
Excerpt: But there are plenty of other times Obama's been
surprised by the result of his own policies. He seemed to think that reaching out to the Iranians would lead to a change in
the regime's behavior and attitudes. Then he thought they would appreciate him
not calling them out on their atrocities; he later regretted his "muted" stance during the
regime's bloody crackdown in 2009. He was surprised to learn that shovel-ready projects were not, in fact, shovel-ready. He
was surprised to learn that large-scale investment in infrastructure and clean-energy
projects wouldn't create enormous numbers of new jobs. He was surprised that his past housing policies hadn't helped
struggling homeowners as he had promised. The "recession turned out to be a lot deeper than any of us realized."
When a woman says her semiconductor-engineer husband can't find a job, Obama said he was surprised to hear it, because "he often hears
business leaders in that field talk of a scarcity of skilled workers."
As I wrote in a previous Jolt, some cynics might look at this pattern and conclude
that Obama isn't as smart as he thinks he is -- or as his fans think he is. But
it's probably more accurate to offer some variation of the Reagan line, that the problem with Obama
isn't that he's ignorant; it's just that he knows so much that isn't so.
CNN’s Dana Bash:
Friday ‘De Facto Deadline’ Before Dems ‘Defy’ Obama, Back GOP’s Obamacare
Fixes. By Noah Rothman
Excerpt: CNN Chief Congressional Correspondent Dana Bash told
her network’s anchors on Tuesday that the end of the week is the “de
facto deadline” at which point the White House needs to have settled on a
series of fixes to address the crisis of Americans losing their health
coverage. After Friday, Bash reported, House Democrats are going to be backing
GOP proposed fixes to the Affordable Care Act against the wishes of
President Barack Obama’s administration. (I don't see how the
toothpaste can be put back in the tube on the lost coverage. ~Bob)
Excerpt: Approximately 8,000 Washington residents were affected, which
meant they were told they qualified for a higher tax credit amount than they
actually qualified for based on their income and household size.

Excerpt: President Xi Jinping of China emerged from a Communist

in the world’s second-largest economy and to consolidate new
decision-making authority in his own hands. (As, those free-market Commies.

Tony resort city
mulls bankruptcy, blaming wages, pensions
Excerpt: A resort town in California
warned on Tuesday that it will run out of money by March due to
burdensome salary and pension costs and could join other U.S. cities
that have recently filed for bankruptcy protection. (There used to be a
prosperous nation known as the USA .
As town after town defaults on its liabilities, it brings us closer to national
bankruptcy. Our national unfunded liabilities total close to 5-6 times GDP. Get
out your calculator and estimate how long it will take for your grandchildren
and their grandchildren to pay these debts. We still hear from at least one
reader who frets that the GOP needs to solve problems like the budget. But in
the grand scheme of it, the budget already has grandfathered within it the
seeds of our destruction because it contains these un-fundable liabilities. It
doesn't matter if it is in the trillions or the quadrillions. Impossible is
impossible. And the GOP is just as responsible for this grave situation as the
other party. Would you ask a fire bug to protect your home? Our task is not to
urge people to vote for this or that corrupt candidate. Our mission is to
educate as many people as we can and change our culture to one that respects
law, decency, honesty, common sense, faith in God and the rest of the
Judeo-Christian values whose loss caused this unsustainable system that must
eventually collapse around us. If we the People have somehow restored these
values by the time of the collapse, we can rebuild. As Ann Barnhardt recently
said, WE are the gold. --Don Hank)
Dangerous Times:
Obama & The Crisis of Evil. By James Lewis
Excerpt: For decades sane people have tried to raise
worldwide alarms about the rise of Iran as a rogue nuclear power. Liberals
chose not to listen. Conservatives listened, because we are realists, and we
still read history. Today -- at this very moment -- the crisis is here, and
worst of all, it has been aided and abetted by Barack Hussein Obama.
Excerpt: It’s that for Muslims, there is a great deal at
stake in the battle over Islamic extremism. That battle will determine whether
they can listen to music, play chess or watch soccer games. Whether men can
shave their beards, women can drive cars, little girls can go to school and
little boys can grow up learning anything except Koranic verses. Non-Muslims
however remain unequal no matter which brand of Islamic theocracy is in charge.
And either way they remain fair game in their own countries.

The Iranians sound just like the Nazis, and I still like
them better than our government. --John Galt
Excerpt: We first learned during the O.J. Simpson trial back
in 1994 that if you're Black you can get away with murder as long as you've got
a majority Black jury. That seems to apply to politics as well as we've seen
Blacks in Harlem elect and re-elect ole tax fraud Charlie Rangel or bank
fraudster Maxine Waters from Watts, or even Barack Obama and his 115% precinct
wins as Blacks voted more than once for "their guy". So when our
local NBC affiliate held a debate between two candidates vying for a Phoenix
City Council seat for District 8, I was not surprised to hear the Black
candidate say that, because he's Black, and because 80% of his district is
Black, he should be elected, based just on his race.

WebMD pockets millions from feds to promote Obamacare
Excerpt: But what neither Health
and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius nor WebMD mentioned
at the time was that the company,
which millions of Americans regularly read for health news, also stood to earn
millions of dollars from a federal contract to teach doctors about Obamacare.
Bill Clinton, other
Democrats distance themselves from Obamacare
Excerpt: In a startling rebuke to
President Obama, former President Bill Clinton and other Democrats picked
apart Obamacare on Tuesday as privacy concerns about the program’s website
multiplied and a video investigation suggested fraudulence among volunteers
helping people enroll for government subsidies. Mr. Clinton called on the president to make
good on his repeated and emphatic promise that Americans who like their health
insurance plans can keep them.
White House fires up its Obamacare spin machine. By Reid J. Epstein, Politico

http://www.politico.com/story/2013/11/obamacare-spin-machine-white-house-99768.html
Excerpt: But after the website debacle, the bad press of
people losing their health plans and President Barack Obama’s defense and then
walk-back of his “if you like your plan, you can keep it” slogan, the White
House has a tougher job on its hands. There’s essentially no avoiding a bad
news cycle, but there are ways to mitigate the damage. Here’s POLITICO’s list
of what you’ll hear when the enrollment numbers come out:
Quote from The Patriot Post
Ambassador Samantha Power: "You know life has changed
when you're hanging out with Jane Fonda backstage. There is no greater
embodiment of being outspoken on behalf of what you believe in -- and being
'all in' in every way -- than Jane Fonda. And it's a huge honor just to even
briefly have shared the stage with her."
WWII and ObamaCare from
The Patriot Post
For the record: From the date O'Care was passed, 23 March
2010, to the date Healthcare.gov was supposed to be operational, 01 October
2013, is 3 years, 6 months and 10 days. For comparison, from the date of our
entry into WWII to the date of Germany 's
surrender is one month LESS than Obama and his socialist cadres had to get
their website operational. That would include our nation's industrial surge
ahead of the invasion of North Africa and Italy ,
D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, the race to Berlin , all while fully
engaged on a second warfront in the Pacific. The EPIC FAIL of Healthcare.gov is
a stunning metaphor for the predictable failure of all statist regimes!

Excerpt: During his first term in office, President Obama
was criticized by conservatives for conducting what they dubbed apology tours
in which he always seemed to find something in American history for which he
felt compelled to make amends. To his surprise, neither apologies nor the magic
of his personality and historic status were able to conceal the fact that he
was far better at alienating America ’s
traditional allies than winning new friends. But as awkward as the president
proved to be at diplomacy, even that experience did not prepare the world for
John Kerry. (Got to give him credit, he is making history. Not the kind of
history that is good for the country, or ever the Administration, but still, it
is history. He is the best at being the worst. --Del )
Obama Job Approval
Drops To Lowest Point Ever, Quinnipiac
University National
Poll Finds; Health Care Act Won't Improve Health Care, Voters Say
Excerpt: American voters disapprove 54 - 39 percent of the
job President Barack Obama is doing, his lowest approval rating in any Quinnipiac
University national poll since he became president, as even women disapprove 51
- 40 percent, according to a national poll released today. Voters in every
income and age group disapprove of the job Obama is doing, with the biggest
disapproval, 59 - 36 percent, among voters over 65 years old. For the first
time today, American voters say 52 - 44 percent that Obama is not honest and
trustworthy. (Link disabled on “The Hill” website. --Barb)

him from being “amerced [fined] for a slight offence, except in accordance with
the degree of the offence; and for a grave offence he shall be amerced in

and a merchant in the same way, saving his merchandise” – i.e., even for a

Senator: US Soldiers Being Killed by
Terror Groups Backed With US Money
Excerpt: The United States has paid more than $150 million
to companies in Afghanistan that are accused of helping to finance terrorist
attacks on American soldiers and facilities, according to the Special Inspector
General for Afghanistan Reconstruction. “It’s like the United States government
subsidizing the Taliban, al Qaeda, the Haqqani network, those groups that are
trying to shoot and kill our soldiers,” said Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, D-N.H., a
member of the Senate’s Armed Services and Foreign Relations committees, in an
interview to be broadcast tonight on ABC News’ “World News with Diane
Sawyer”…. The Pentagon had arranged for ABC News to interview Lt. Gen.
William Phillips of Army acquisition about the concerns, but later canceled,
his staff saying “they will be declining an interview for some time in the

Will ‘GridEx II’ Keep
Americans in the Dark?
Excerpt: If a predictable, naturally occurring event could
severely disrupt the electric power grid and result in the death of perhaps as
many as nine out of ten Americans, do you think the electric industry would be
doing everything possible to prevent such an outcome? Think again. The truth is
that, despite seven federal studies that have found our bulk power distribution
system (universally known as “the grid”) could face catastrophic damage from
the electromagnetic energy unleashed by intense solar flaring, the utilities
seem determined to pretend there is no danger.
