The media misleads on Texas coronavirus story, while letting New York slide
Excerpt: Texas is the 2nd most populated state in America, and New York is #4. New York has the most populated city, while Texas has the 4th, 7th, 9th, 11th and 13th. We know New York has been a hotbed for the coronavirus outbreak, while Texas has, so far, not. But because of a variety of factors - the media's geographic bias, first and foremost, but also the media's disdain for easing lockdown restrictions, their favoritism of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and more - the coverage of each state has not been intellectually honest. Let's take New York first. New York was really the only state that actually had hospitals reaching capacity, and has now, thankfully, been on the positive side of the curve in recent works. Of course - New York isn't out of the words yet. Yesterday New York had 1,419 new cases, and 155 new deaths - far more than Texas, for example. The coverage of Gov. Cuomo has been fawning - and not just from his brother.
