Must Read (scary): Reconquista, Part 1. By Tom Kratman
Excerpt: The pink strip along the Mexican border are those counties where Latins are the largest group. In those four tier states, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, the percentage of Latins, mostly Mexican or Mexican-descended, in the population are equal to or greater than, respectively, 37%, 16%, 47%, and 37%. We may reasonably presume that the percentage of Latin/Mexican population in those pink shaded areas in three of those four states is nigh unto overwhelming. The area is uniquely well primed for a movement to detach it from the United States, either de jure or de facto, awaiting only some planning, a spark and some money. Drug lords have money and several reasons to provide the spark and coach the resulting fire into a roaring blaze. They’re also businessmen, after a fashion, and can plan. Most of them lack military expertise, true, but they could hire that readily enough, even if they couldn’t hire me.2 With me so far? Good. What follows in this column and this series will discuss how they might do it.3 (Tom Kratman is a retired USA LtCol, an occasional contributor to this blog, and an outstand author of military science fiction, including the A Desert Called Peace series. http://www.amazon.com/Desert-Called-Peace-Carrera-Book-ebook/dp/B00B5HJOFY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426715332&sr=8-1&keywords=Peace+Kratman I expect that in 20 years they will move his novel Caliphate to the history section. ~Bob)

Cruz

Cruz Colorado chair blasts 'horrible' Team Trump charge of 'Gestapo tactics'

Cruz Is a Safer General-Election Bet than Trump. By Jim Geraghty
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433966/ted-cruz-stronger-donald-trump-against-hillary-clinton
Excerpt: The conventional wisdom is that though Ted Cruz can excite the conservative-activist base of the Republican party, he can’t beat Hillary Clinton in a general election. But the recent head-to-head polling tells a different story.  Unless your name is George W. Bush, it’s tough to win 270 electoral votes without winning the popular vote. And Cruz is hanging in there against the Democratic front-runner. The RealClearPolitics average puts Clinton at 46.4 percent and Cruz at 43.9 percent; the most recent McClatchy-Marist survey has it a tie. Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the current Republican front-runner, hasn’t led Clinton in any national poll since mid February, and trails her by 10.6 points in the RCP average.

Trump

I'm shocked. Shocked, I say. A portrait of Trump the donor: Free rounds of golf, but no personal cash
Excerpt: Since the first day of his presidential campaign, Donald Trump has said that he gave more than $102 million to charity in the past five years. To back up that claim, Trump’s campaign compiled a list of his contributions— 4,844 of them, filling 93 pages. But, in that massive list, one thing was missing. Not a single one of those donations was actually a personal gift of Trump’s own money. Instead, according to a Washington Post analysis, many of the gifts that Trump cited to prove his generosity were free rounds of golf, given away by his courses for charity auctions and raffles. (At some point, the Donaldcrats will have to face the truth. Donald Trump is not a good person. His core values are self-enrichment and self aggrandizement. I have held him in contempt as long as I have known anything about him. ~Bob)

Report: Analysis Finds That Trump Has Given $0 of Personal Cash to Charity, Despite Claims Otherwise
Excerpt: Republican front-runner Donald Trump claims he’s given more than $100 million to charity over the last five years, but an analysis of more than 93 pages of charitable givings revealed that the billionaire did not actually once donate personal cash. The analysis, which was conducted by the Washington Post, found that instead of actually donating personal cash, Trump cited free rounds of golf given away via auctions and raffles as his donations to charitable organizations.

Despite complaints, delegate system has given Trump a 22 percent bonus
Excerpt: Trump now leads the Republican field with 756 delegates — or 45 percent of all delegates awarded to date. Yet he has won about 37 percent of all votes in the primaries, according to the NBC analysis, meaning Trump's delegate support is greater than his actual support from voters. For each percentage point of total primary votes that Trump has won, he has been awarded 1.22 percent of the total delegates.

Donald Trump cannot close. by Jenifer Rubin
Excerpt: Trump is whining that delegate allocation processes are “rigged” and that the system is “corrupt.” He insists he should get the nomination with less than a majority of the delegates (1,237 is not some arbitrary number, but 50 percent plus one of the available delegates). It is ironic that the man who reportedly took advantage of every tax break, who as a business tactic sues at the drop of the hat and who brags that he bought politicians to influence them now whines about “corruption.” He was supposed to be the expert at manipulating the system. He was supposed to be the guy who understood the levers of power so well that he’d finally use them for the benefit of ordinary Americans. Now, that seems preposterous, not because he is insincere (although he is) but because he is entirely incompetent.

If Trump Doesn’t Understand 156 Year Old Political Rules, How Will He Understand the Presidency? By Erick Erickson
Excerpt: Donald Trump entered the race knowing he would need 1,237 delegates. But the man who claims he surrounds himself with experts and top men to advise him on things surrounded himself with advisors who told him not to worry about the delegates. Now Trump is having to bring in new people to play the delegate game, which is an acknowledgement that the rule for a majority will no be waived. But along the way, both Trump and his supporters have taken to whining incessantly about the majority requirement. Publicly they think it should be changed to a plurality, though neither the delegate rules nor the Electoral College rules will be changed from majority to plurality.

Points whichever way the wind blows! Donald Trump Weathervane
"I'll Be So Great for America It'll Make Your Head Spin" * Donald Trump weathervane, No. 2 in my Political Weathervanes series featuring 2016 presidential candidates. This weathervane is off-balance, spins maniacally, and always points to $. The term "political weathervane," coined by republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman during his 2012 campaign, describes a politician who frequently changes positions on important issues. This is a one-off original, sculpted in pure 16-ounce copper and silver. Measures 24 inches in height x 22 inches in length. I will be reaching out to both sides of the political aisle in this series--truly a bi-partisan effort. These unique pieces of American political history are sure to become priceless collector's items. Thank you for buying American, David Smith, sculptor *Actual Trump quote

Like dad, like kids: On Fox, Trump revealed Eric and Ivanka Trump didn't "register in time" to vote in NY primary and feel "very guilty."

Trump’s Convention Strategy: “The Fix Is In”
Excerpt: More than three months before any ballots have been cast at the Republican convention, Roger Stone, Donald Trump’s on-again, off-again consigliere, has delivered the campaign equivalent of a severed horse head to delegates who might consider denying Trump the nomination. Trump’s supporters will find you in your sleep, he merrily informed them this week. He did not mean it metaphorically. “We will disclose the hotels and the room numbers of those delegates who are directly involved in the steal,” Stone said Monday, on Freedomain Radio. “If you’re from Pennsylvania, we’ll tell you who the culprits are. We urge you to visit their hotel and find them. You have a right to discuss this, if you voted in the Pennsylvania primary, for example, and your votes are being disallowed,” Stone said. Over the years, I’ve covered elections in Iraq, Iran, and Burma. Stone’s taunt is every bit as threatening as anything I heard in those places, which have far less experience than America with democracy. Such is the moment we currently inhabit.

Latest Poll: More Proof That Hillary Clinton Would Easily Beat Donald Trump
Excerpt: And to add insult to injury, Trump doesn’t even beat Hillary when it comes to his own campaign slogan.  When asked who they thought was better suited to “make America great again,” 33% indicated they thought Hillary would do a better job, compared to 28% who backed Trump.  Thirty percent said they simply didn’t trust either candidate to make America great again. Trump supporters, don’t be too discouraged.  Trump did beat out all the other remaining candidates in one category.  A whopping 63% of Americans would “definitely not vote for” Donald Trump.  For reference, only 49% said the same about Hillary Clinton.

New Yorker Trump Visits 9/11 Memorial & Museum … For the FIRST Time
Exposing Trump, the sleazy opportunist: "Donald Trump, who frequently uses 9/11 in speeches, finally visited the National September 11 Museum on Saturday. I guess those New York values really get in the way of paying respect to the victims he so often references.... ...Remember, Trump claims that he lost hundreds of friends on 9/11/01, but, as reported by The Daily Beast, can’t even name one. He also claims he witnessed people jumping from the towers, and that thousands of Muslims in New Jersey cheered the attacks. With the turmoil he experienced, one would think that he would have made a visit to the site..." --NW

Remember When Trump Skipped a Debate To Raise Money For Veterans? The Veterans Still Haven’t Received Their Money.

Amateur Hour Continues at the Trump Campaign. By Erick Erickson
Excerpt: They are behaving like amateurs over there. Let’s review. First, it turns out Donald Trump knew about the Colorado rules changes last August. So he never got his act together, lost Colorado, and is now whining about the rules changes. Second, the deadline to register for the New York Republican Party was last October and two of Trump’s children did not do that. Trump was a candidate for President and no one on his campaign thought anything about two of his kids not being registered to vote for him.
Now there is Washington. The Trump campaign confused Washington the state with Washington, D.C.

Trump backer Ben Carson to #NeverTrump radio host: If not for my kids and grandkids, I’d be right there with you
Excerpt: I thought BuzzFeed was overselling it when I saw their headline but listen between 12:20 and 16:00 below. The host, Krista Kafer, tells Carson flat out that she thinks Trump’s a “bad man” (his reply: “Who isn’t?”) and that she’d never hand the nuclear codes to the sort of person who mocks the disabled. The conversation meanders a bit from there but it circles back at 15:20 to whether Trump’s character should matter if he can save the country. It’s all about protecting future generations by keeping Supreme Court appointments out of Hillary’s hands, says Carson — but “if it was just me, I would be completely where Krista is.” Which is both amazing, as a highlight for the ever-expanding Carson “worst surrogate ever” reel, and nonsensical. If it’s the Supreme Court you’re worried about, why wouldn’t you go all-in for Cruz, who’s not only a much surer bet to appoint conservative justices but who’s more electable than Trump according to every national poll? For cripes sake, Trump is even trailing Hillary now when voters are asked which candidate is more likely to make America great. He can’t even beat her on his own campaign slogan.

No political influence in Clinton email probe, Obama says. By Anne Gearan
Excerpt: President Obama insisted Sunday that there will be no White House or political influence on the FBI or the Justice Department as they look into the security of the private email system Hillary Clinton used for government work when she was secretary of state. "I can guarantee that," Obama said in an interview with "Fox News Sunday." It was his first interview with the network in two years.

WaPo Fact Checker: Hillary Clinton’s claim that the ‘highest per capita number’ of crime guns in New York come from Vermont
Excerpt: We wavered between Two and Three Pinocchios. Clinton has carefully crafted her talking point to find the particular government data that support her point, which gives a wildly different view than how trafficking flows are tracked. We do not find the per capita measure as a fair assessment of gun flows from Vermont into New York. The difference between this point using per capita calculation and the raw number (1 percent of crime guns with source states identified in 2014 came from Vermont) is so stark that it creates a significantly misleading impression to the public. Those factors tip to Three Pinocchios. Three Pinocchios

Scarborough: Obama ‘Rigged’ The FBI Investigation Into Hillary’s Emails [VIDEO]
http://dailycaller.com/2016/04/11/scarborough-obama-rigged-the-fbi-investigation-into-hillarys-emails-video/#ixzz45cRX4sLK
Excerpt: MSNBC host Joe Scarborough says that Barack Obama has “rigged” the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server by commenting on the case before the investigation has concluded. Monday on “Morning Joe,” Scarborough said that Obama “has made a fool” of FBI Director James Comey by suggesting that the FBI “investigation doesn’t matter because the scales [have been tipped in Clinton’s favor].” (RELATED: Obama: Hillary ‘Has Not Jeopardized America’s National Security’ With Her Private Email Server) Scarborough was incensed that Obama would claim that Clinton “has not jeopardized America’s national security” despite the fact the investigation has not concluded.  (RELATED: Obama Guarantees There’s ‘No Political Influence’ In Hillary’s FBI Investigation)

WH defends Clinton and de Blasio after 'CP time' joke flops
Excerpt: Clinton bemoaned how long it took for de Blasio to endorse her presidential campaign. "I just have to say, thanks for the endorsement, Bill. It took you long enough,” Clinton said. "Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time," de Blasio said, using a term that commonly refers to “colored people time,” a quip at the stereotype that black people often run late. (And of course the White House would have done the same if it happened at a Republican event. --Joe)

Sanders

Hit List! Some Democrats accuse Sanders supporters of harassing convention delegates. By Anne GearanJohn Wagner and Abby Phillip
Excerpt: Sen. Bernie Sanders and his boosters are intensifying their courtship of convention delegates who could determine the winner of the Democratic presidential nomination, prompting some party leaders and supporters of front-runner Hillary Clinton to claim harassment. The Sanders campaign says it has no connection to the efforts of outside supporters to lean on superdelegates, the party leaders and elected officials who can cast nomination votes for any candidate and who are seen as increasingly pivotal in the Democrats’ unexpectedly drawn-out nominating contest. Among those efforts is a website created last week under the name Superdelegate Hit List, providing phone numbers and addresses for superdelegates and encouraging users to submit further contact information, presumably to help advocates pressure them. (Imagine if a Republican site used the term "Hit List" for those they disagreed with. The Illiberal Left would be accusing them of threatening murder. ~Bob)

Democrats aren’t good at the political revolution thing — and Sanders won’t be any different. By Jonathan Capehart
Excerpt: A familiar and self-defeating pattern among Democrats is emerging for a fourth consecutive presidential election cycle. It goes something like this: The favored establishment candidate faces a challenge from the left fueled by grass-roots fervor, money and media attention. Whether that challenger wins the nomination (Barack Obama in 2008) or loses (Howard Dean in 2004), there is always talk about how their following is the start of a movement that can no longer be ignored.
That is, until the presidential election is over. After that great day at the polls, despite all the heady talk of political revolution, those fired-up folks go home — and stay there for the next four years.

WaPo Fact Checker: Sanders’s claim that Panama Free-Trade deal enabled more offshore tax scams
Excerpt: We understand that Sanders is highly critical of free-trade agreements, but in this instance, his claims that provisions in the Panama deal fostered tax avoidance fall short. Perhaps he could make a case that the deal bolstered up an economy built in part on fraud, but that’s not the same thing as saying the deal itself promoted offshore accounts. In fact, U.S. officials tried to use the FTA as leverage to improve access to tax information about U.S. citizens using offshore accounts in Panama. Three Pinocchios

Important: Hoover Institution Releases Study Highlighting Unfunded Liabilities Of State And Local Governments
Excerpt: The Hoover Institution Press today released Hidden Debt, Hidden Deficits – a data-rich study by Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Joshua Rauh -- that calls attention to the fact that almost no state or local government is running a balanced budget, with the reality being that runaway pension costs are consuming state and local budgets.  “The problem of unfunded pension liabilities has become too big to ignore,” said Rauh. “State and local governments promise guaranteed pensions based on targeted returns that are far from certain. In reality, assets in the pension systems will be insufficient to pay for these promises to retirees, resulting in a heavy burden being placed on taxpayers to make up the difference.” (As I pointed out a few years ago in my book, below, the acknowledged $19T debt is the small problem. The Battle to Save a Revolutionary War Battlefield. By George Will
Excerpt: The most lethal weapons in this war were bayonets. The British had them. Few Americans did, and they beat a panicked retreat from the advancing steel. By his personal bravery, Washington reversed this and led a charge. An unusually tall man sitting on a large white horse, he was a clear target riding as close to British lines as first base is to home plate. Biographer Ron Chernow writes that, at Princeton, Washington was a “warrior in the antique sense. The eighteenth-century battlefield was a compact space, its cramped contours defined by the short range of muskets and bayonet charges, giving generals a chance to inspire by their immediate presence.” In today’s academia there are many scholars against scholarship, including historians hostile to history — postmodernists who think the past is merely a social construct reflecting the present’s preoccupations, or power structures, or something. They partake of academia’s preference for a multicultural future of diluted, if not extinguished, nationhood, and they dislike commemorating history made by white men with guns. The IAS engaged a historian who wrote a report clotted with today’s impenetrable academic patois. He says we should not “fetishize space,” and he drapes disparaging quotation marks around the words “hallowed ground.” The battle to save this battlefield, one of the nation’s most significant and most neglected sites, is not yet lost. The government in today’s Trenton, and in the city named for the man who won the 1777 battle, should assist the Civil War Trust.

The Left’s Climate Inquisition’s New Target. By Hans von Spakovsky
Excerpt: In a truly outrageous abuse of his authority and a misuse of the law, the attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Claude E. Walker, has served a subpoena on the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) demanding documents related to CEI’s research on global “climate change.” Walker is part of a network of state “AGs United for Clean Power” who have formed a grand inquisition to go after those they claim have lied about climate change—which is a contentious and unproven scientific theory.
The Competitive Enterprise Institute is a non-profit public policy institute (like the Heritage Foundation) that researches and publishes studies and reports on issues it believes are “essential for entrepreneurship, innovation, and prosperity to flourish.” It is dedicated to the principles of “limited government, free enterprise, and individual liberty.” CEI is well-known for its high-quality, objective research on energy and climate issues, which clearly has made it a target of Inquisitor Walker. (So the AG of the US Virgin Islands, where there is more corruption and a higher murder rate than the rest of the nation, and where they get a lot of income from a refinery, has decided to try to extend his power to a research facility in DC and attack the very idea of dissent from the AGW hypothesis?  Sure, that makes perfect sense. No surprise, it's just the next step in the attempt to intimidate and silence anyone who doesn't enthusiastically agree that we humans are making the planet much warmer (never mind those silly satellite data), and force the idea of "carbon credits" and guilt payments to small countries by big ones (mainly... the USA), and subsidize alternate energy ideas no matter how expensive they are, birds they kill, and of course, don't really work 24/7.  (But NOT nuclear power!)  This is truly a brazen assault on Freedom of Speech, indeed, Freedom of Thought, and the practice of real Science where nothing is proven by consensus, but only by compelling data.  (And when all your computer models fail to predict events accurately, you abandon them and the underlying theory.)  Hopefully this will get buried in court. --Del)

Justice Rebecca Bradley’s victory bodes well for Wisconsin’s right-to-work law. By M.D. Kittle
Excerpt: Friday afternoon showed why last Tuesday night was so important for conservatives and the rule of law in Wisconsin. Late Friday afternoon, Dane County Circuit Court Judge William Foust struck down Wisconsin’s year-old right-to-work law.
The bill was passed by the state’s GOP-controlled Legislature and signed into law by Republican Gov. Scott Walker, who has driven some of the most ambitious government reforms in the state’s history. Foust’s ruling was another “act of blatant judicial activism that will not withstand appellate review,” said Scott Manley, senior vice president of government relations for Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce.

Methane Mendacity – And Madness. By Paul Driessen
Excerpt: Quick: What is 17 cents out of $100,000? If you said 0.00017 percent, you win the jackpot. That number, by sheer coincidence, is also the percentage of methane in Earth’s atmosphere. That’s a trivial amount, you say: 1.7 parts per million. There’s three times more helium and 230 times more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. You’re absolutely right, again. Equally relevant, only 19% of that global methane comes from oil, natural gas and coal production and use. Fully 33% comes from agriculture: 12% from rice growing and 21% from meat production. Still more comes from landfills and sewage treatment (11%) and burning wood and animal dung (8%). The remaining 29% comes from natural sources: oceans, wetlands, termites, forest fires and volcanoes. The manmade portions are different for the USA: 39% energy use, 36% livestock, 18% landfills, and 8% sewage treatment and other sources. But it’s still a piddling contribution to a trivial amount in the air. (Zealots are not deep thinkers and they are very comfortable confirming their biases. The world is complex and there are always tradeoffs. Zealots won't look any further. Cordially, Larry Greenberg)

Western Civilization? No Thanks, Stanford Students Say. BY WALTER HUDSON
Excerpt: To survive and thrive, human beings must think. You might imagine that such a statement goes without saying. But you would be wrong. In fact, the necessity of thought has long been a contested notion in philosophical circles. Societies which embrace thinking , societies which embrace rationality, steadily improve the condition of mankind. Those who reject rationality devolve into darkness, fostering human suffering. The generation making its way through academia today seems intent on the latter course, as evidenced most recently by news out of Stanford University. There, the student government just voted down a motion to require freshmen to learn “the politics, history, philosophy, and culture of the Western world” by a 6 to 1 margin. (Yep, Western Civilization is nothing but EVIL.  So many other things are so much more important to think about and work on.  The crazy legend that 20% of all women in college are raped (traceable in the end to a very badly run survey that didn't actually ask that question at all, whose originators have since proclaimed it should never be used as if a valid statistical study) has to be proven true.  And if actual surveys don't show that, then of course we need to take more surveys until people fill them out the way we want them to. This is beyond stupid, it is truly dangerous to the future of the society when the up and coming generation of supposedly educated kids from prestige schools are so utterly nuts and so sure they know everything. --Del)

Worth Reading: Calls for American Unity Are Dishonest (Democrats) or Naïve (Republicans)
http://www.nationalreview.com/article/433941/hillary-clinton-john-kasich-unity-fake
Excerpt: But calls for unity are meaningless no matter who makes them. Because no one who calls for unity tells you what they really mean. What they really mean is that they want to unite Americans around their values — and only around their values. Would Mrs. Clinton be willing to unite all Americans around recognizing the human rights of the unborn? Would she be willing to unite all Americans around support for widespread gun ownership? Of course not. She is willing to unite Americans — providing they adopt her views.

Mizzou closes two dorms due to lack of students
Excerpt: Following a drop in students applying for housing, the University of Missouri will not be placing students in two dorms for the fall 2016 semester. Mizzou will be closing the Respect and Excellence halls (ironic names, given the circumstances) in order to utilize dorm space "in the most efficient manner" to keep costs down. In March, the university announced that it saw a sharp drop in admissions for the coming school year, and will have 1,500 fewer students. This will lead to a $32 million budget shortfall for the school, prompting the need to close the dorms in order to save money. (That's a head-scratcher. --Joe)

Damage Extensive for Crippled U.S. Littoral Ship in Singapore
The Fort Worth “has just had a terrific deployment to the Pacific,” Navy Secretary Ray Mabus said during a House Defense Appropriations subcommittee hearing on March 1, without noting that it’s been sitting immobile in port. What Mabus failed to mention in his testimony before congress is that the ship is just this side of scrap because the propulsion system is now completely inoperative. Any single officer of the US Navy would be relieved of command and kicked out of service for misleading congress--- but not Rainbow Ray Mabus--- one of many of Obama's criminal minions. --Tom C.

Worth Reading: The Next President Is Going to Be Hated. BY VICTOR DAVIS HANSON
Excerpt: Everyone hates the sourpuss who says the party is over. The next president will have to tell the American people that a reckoning is on the horizon—and that it is not going to be pretty. President Obama has created lots of mythoi about the landscape he inherited in January 2009: the Iraq war was lost and al Qaeda ascendant; the September 2008 meltdown had wrecked the economy; the immigration system “was” in shambles; and Obama would have to restore fiscal sobriety after George W. Bush (all “by his lonesome” with a “credit card from the Bank of China”) in “unpatriotic” fashion had alone piled up U.S. record debt.

REFUGEE BACKERS SWITCH AFTER HEARING MARK STEYN. 'I draw the line at the 3-year-old getting raped'
Excerpt: So she and I agree that Immigration on this scale is transformative. The only difference is that Madam Arbour thinks it’s for the better, and I don’t. And I’m genuinely curious to know what aspects of Afghan and Syrian and Sudanese culture that she’d like us to be transformed by: women’s rights, fast-track justice whereby gays get thrown off rooftops, polygamy, child rights, (female genital mutilation), the bracing commitment to free speech, I’d like an answer on that tonight from Madam Arbour.” ( Mark Steyn calls a spade a spade.  Per article, Syrian refugees coming West are 97% Sunni Muslims.  Given the incidents of abuse of children (both sexes) and women by these male "refugees," amazing how Catholic Church and other religious organizations are pushing their importation for dollars while Christians being massacred are left to their faith in God with no help from UN or US. --Barb)

The Enormous Fraud of the Iran Deal Is Catching Up with Obama
Excerpt:  As I have explained here on National Review Online, in "Obama's Iran Deal Is the Opposite of What He Promised the American People," the negotiations that produced the JCPOA were an endless series of fallacies and deceptions. To get Iran to the negotiating table, the Obama administration foolishly agreed that the mullahs could continue to enrich uranium and develop advanced enrichment centrifuges. This means that the timeline for an Iranian nuclear weapon will shorten when the JCPOA is in effect, because Iran will all the while be improving its capability to produce nuclear fuel.

Obama Argues He's Done More to Fight Terrorism Than Other Presidents
Excerpt: President Obama pushed back against criticism of how he's handled terrorism during his tenure by arguing "there isn't a president who's taken more terrorists off the field than me." In an interview aired this morning on Fox, host Chris Wallace asked Obama about a recent interview with The Atlantic in which the writer notes that the president frequently reminds his staff "terrorism takes far fewer lives in America than handguns, car accidents, and falls in bathtubs do." "... My number one job is to protect the American people. " (Remember the forensic psychology profiler who said whatever Obama says, read the opposite for his actual meaning.  He has returned more terrorists from Gitmo to the field....and continues to do so.  Remember the BS:  You can keep your doctor and your plan.  You will save $2500/household.  Your health insurance will be cheaper....Barb)

Migrant crisis: Greece brands Macedonian reaction 'deplorable'
Excerpt: Greece has condemned the action of Macedonian police to disperse hundreds of migrants at the border between the two countries. Tear gas was used near the Idomeni crossing, where more than 11,000 refugees and other migrants are camped out on the Greek side of the border. Aid organisation Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said it had treated around 300 injured people.

Terrible Things Are Happening
Excerpt: If you ask us what Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei means when he leads his weekend crowds in a chant of “Death to America,” most Americans will not say “he wants to destroy us all.” Yet that is precisely what he means, and if we had leaders worthy of the name, they would be designing a strategy to bring down the Tehran regime before Khamenei and his evil henchmen do terrible things to us.... Instead, the president and the secretary of state keep showering largesse on the ayatollahs, who respond by telling us they are preparing our destruction. (Maybe N. Korea will be them to it....Barb)

Canadian Newspaper Censors Refugee Abuse Of Elementary Students
Excerpt: A story revealing how a Canadian elementary school has allowed refugee students to physically abuse their classmates and go unpunished was removed Sunday morning, with little explanation other than a nod towards the “sensitive” nature of the subject. Nova Scotia newspaper The Chronicle Herald published a story on Friday evening titled “Parents worried over school kids’ brutality at Chebucto Heights Elementary School.” The story revealed parents’ fears over the abuse their children have suffered at the hands of newly-enrolled refugee students.

Forgotten Jewish refugees
Excerpt: The violent Islamic intolerance of the "infidel" is clearly reflected in the highly ignored and misrepresented persecution and expulsion of 820,000 Jewish refugees from Arab lands, exceeding the scope of Palestinian-Arab refugees. This expulsion occurred well before the 1948-1949 War of Independence, and persisted following the war.
On Feb. 19, 1947, Syria's U.N. representative, Faris al-Khuri, told the New York Times: "Unless the Palestine problem is settled [with no Jewish state], we shall have difficulty in protecting Jews in the Arab world." (No revelation here for the previously informed, but worth remembering when the descendents of the Arabs who left what is now Israel in 1948 whine about their largely self-inflicted plight. Cordially, --Larry Greenberg)
