Early voting in Madison

In Madison as of last Tuesday, 22,382 folks (including us) had voted early. Last midterm it was 8,811 at this point. Not sure what this means. I suspect the people who vote early are locked into their candidates, and wouldn't change by election day, absent major scandal. Maybe not then. ~Bob
