Wow: Must read article on how our lives will change dramatically in 20 years.
Excerpt: He certainly lays it all out -and I can see it all happening - even without personal access to the multi-dimensional facts... So... if the Congress and the state legislatures weren't so invested in, at worst, reacting (to whatever), and at best, responding, then maybe someone in there, or in another leadership position, could be looking at how to address what it would take to keep all the future (including long-living) people (1) occupied (constructively); (2) engaged; (3) away from crime... Which could lead to two areas (besides governance): * innovation (research, inventions, etc.) and * creativity (the arts, craftsmanship, etc.)
...But I don't see much, if any, insight/foresight/planning - and certainly no address - in terms of necessary skills, knowledge, values, and abilities - by K-12 and higher education, or by the business community, or by public officials, etc. Do you? --Thx, DG
