Thanks so much for posting this link. Mr. Steyn puts the decline of Western Civilization in Europe and, unfortunately, in the US as well in such clear perspective. Was it Thomas Jefferson who stated that the Tree of Liberty must often be watered with the blood of patriots, I fear these patriots are a breed on the edge of extinction. We have become fat and intellectualy lazy, anxious to trade our liberty and worth as individuals for comfort and security. Pray for our country.
