The explanation of the KGB defector so many years ago has very direct bearing on what we see happening in this country now. Except the process of "ideological subjugation" is now a virus that works on its own, it no longer needs any outside agitator to keep it progressing. To a large extent, "We have met the enemy and this is us!" applies. We have far more than enough home grown enemies of our way of life and assorted real crazies to keep the process of cultural suicide going. What is needed is a huge, widespread revolt by Americans against all this. Starting with the next election when a tidal wave of votes kicks the "progressives" out of power and a slow return to some kind of sanity begins.
