Of Irish Blood by Mary Pat Kelly.
I enjoyed this sequel
to “Galway Bay,” as much as I enjoyed the first novel. Kelly does great
history. This novel covers WWI, the 916 Irish Rising, the Anglo-Irish war, and
the Irish Civil War. Her protagonist is named for her grandmother, Honora
Kelly, the leading character in “Galway Bay.” But the two novels can stand
alone. Both are excellent. It is rich in real famous people, writers, poets,
painters, designers, and Irish revolutionaries. I highly recommend it.
