So minority kids don't do as well on average in some schools as White kids?  And the answer the geniuses have come up with is to lower the bar for them to make things more "equitable"?  So now the "A" grade the White kid gets means something really different from the "A" grade the minority kid gets?  Sure, that's the way to make things better in society.

 

Ahh.... maybe the two real answers are more focused learning help for the kids who want it, and let reality be whatever it is for everyone else.  The letters on the page may be black ink on white paper, but they don't care what eyes are looking at them.  Reading skills are reading skills whether your ancestors came from Scandinavia, the UK, Spain, China, or Africa.
