Swedes are Fleeing
And there's a very famous road paved with good intentions. The Swedish government started bending over backwards to be charitable and super kind and generous to people who were, or claimed to be, refugees. They have taken in a higher percentage of their own population of people from assorted very different cultures than any other nation has, or probably ever has. Even when the problems that come with that kind of policy started becoming evident, which is well over ten years ago, they just doubled down and kept the doors open. And now the price has become too high to hide under the rug anymore, and even the nicest, kindest Swedes are reacting to the messes that have come into being. That seem to have no good answer either. In a country with super tight gun laws, there are now plenty of shootings, not to mention explosions, and more car burnings than you can believe. And by far the highest rape incidence in all the Western world. They sowed the wind and are reaping the whirlwind. I feel sorry for them, and wish them well, but in truth, they have created a situation that is very negative and is not going to get better at all. Most likely, it will continue to get worse. Maybe there's a lesson here? --Del
