As regular blog readers know, I started boycotting the NFL
as the start of the 2016 season because of the players disrespecting the flag,
the country and veterans, and I'm still there. But you know what? I don't miss
it. I enjoy having the extra time to read and write. I doubt I'll go back to
watching the NFL even if they knock that anti-American stuff off.

We feel the same way and it's about time we know the real truth how these players feel about their liberty and freedom that all veterans gave them. We think the NFL is going down the tubes.
ReplyDeleteFrom a Marine buddy: Bob, As a n American and a Veteran Marine I too have boycotted the 2016 season for the same reasons as you and I don't miss it either. (OOOOH RAH!) Several of my veteran friends have also shut the game off as well as stopped patronizing the NFL sponsors as a direct response to the disrespect the NFL and most of it's players have displayed to our nation and our flag. We have been encouraging our fellow veterans, family and friends to do the same.... Please keep this up!
