On July 3rd, My bride, Bonnie, Granddaughter Britnye and Step-daughter Julie had their hair cut and donated it to Locks of Love, which provides wigs for kids with medical hair loss.
I had a trim, too, but they didn't think anyone would want my gray clippings and just swept them up.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR LOVELY FAMILY. I KNOW VERY WELL AND GOD BLESS FOR WHAT THEY DID. MY ONLY DAUGHTER HAD AML(ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA) 1991 AT NINETEEN. BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT(MALE DONOR FROM ENGLAND) AT FRED HUTCHINSON SEATTLE 1992. PERIPHERAL NERVE SHEATH TUMOR(SARCOMA) LEFT FOREARM AMPUTATION 2008. SOME MANAGEABLE HEALTH COMPLICATIONS RESULTS FROM ALL. HOWEVER, WORKS EVERYDAY AND WILL BE THE FIRST TO EXPLAIN, "SHE IS NOT A VICTIM".
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely ladies with BIG hearts you have! I've given to Locks of Love in the past myself and it's so nice to know that you're helping a child with cancer. Added bonus - a cooler summer! *LOL*
ReplyDeleteKUDOS!
