This terrific book was the selection of a book club we belong to. It arrived on Thursday and I finished it Friday evening. I supported Ted Cruz’s presidential bid in 2016 as much as my limited resources allowed, including attending two rallies. I still hope that he will eventually be president. Nothing in this book gave me second thoughts. I knew that the senator had litigated before the Supreme Court, but had no idea of how often. Cruz was involved in almost every legal defense of our freedoms and the Bill of Rights over the last two decades, most of which he won by one vote. He lays out the details of the cases, and the strategies, which I really inside baseball. This book should be read by every American concerned with preserving American freedoms from the growing state.
