53 years ago today

53 years ago, I left for Parris Island, SC to become a Marine, and meet my DIs, Sgt. W. Harris, Sgt. M. Martin and Sgt E.Owens. I was only with them three months, but thank God for them every day. They gave me tenacity and self discipline. Thus I've had a long, happy and successful life.
