Three years ago, on May 26, I was in the VA hospital. I was holding at 90% oxygen saturation, the bare minimum, with 100% oxygen running--which you can't keep up. The doctor said I had no where to go, but he could put me on a ventilator breathing tube, but I should know many people never came off them. I said "throw the dice." The doctors and nurses were looking grim and Bonnie was telling people I was continuing to deteriorate. I fought throw it, came off the tube six days later and the doctor said of the hundreds of patients he had put on breathing tubes over the years, i tolerated it better than anyone. I said thank Parris Island. And I think the hundreds of people who were praying for me.
And we are all so happy and blessed you have survived!
