Quotes for the Conservative
Heart is a collection of over 1,900 quotes,
thoughts, and adages that will make you think (which may be an uncomfortable
experience), which will help you defend yourself against ad hominin attacks,
and which will help your writing and speaking. They will inspire you to fight a
bit harder and a bit longer. As necessary to your security as an extra
magazine, this book will help you identify threats to you, your family, and
your culture. Open carry (of this book) is encouraged. We hope it will be a
constant companion and a treasured possession.
Health Update: Things are stable, thank God. No new
problems. Walking more. Walked the whole
parade route with Charity Barry for Congress in Orfordville, WI. (Okay, it was
just over a mile and I straggled. Still…)
On the Fourth of July: President Calvin Coolidge declared: "About the Declaration there is a finality
that is exceedingly restful. It is often asserted that the world has made a
great deal of progress since 1776, that we have had new thoughts and new
experiences which have given us a great advance over the people of that day,
and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something
more modern. But that reasoning cannot be applied to this great charter. If all
men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable
rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent
of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond
these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness,
the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but
backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the
individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction
cannot lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more
modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers."

Speaking of COVID, “This is a tremendous opportunity
to restructure things to fit our vision.” ~ James Clyburn, House Democrat Whip.
From the net: “Russian invasion of Ukraine is fake
news. Work of Moose and Squirrel.” ~ Boris & Natashia
Nine black Republicans are running for public office
in Wisconsin, three for Lt. Governor. We are supporting Cindy Warner. I hope
they don’t throw me out of the party of, “Old, white men!”
They say, “Ashes to ashes and dust to dust.” In our
house it’s also, “Goodwill to Goodwill.”
“Inflation is always and
everywhere a monetary phenomenon in the sense that it is and can be produced
only by a more rapid increase in the quantity of money than in output.” ~ Milton Friedman (Author Capitalism
and Freedom)
When will they claim that buying white bread is
racist?
“Society is a
conspiracy to keep itself from the truth.” ~
William Deresiewicz, Excellent Sheep.
By now, everyone who thinks can see the Biden’s
limitations and the results of progressive policies and spending. Do not weaken
the case with name calling.
That village that Hilary said it took to raise a
child, was Epstein the mayor? ~ From the net
Liberals: “18-year-olds are not mature enough to own
guns.” Also liberals: “16-year-olds are mature enough to vote.” How about to
drink?
I tried to create a free blog on www.wix.com to post book reviews. Couldn’t get it to work right.
Their customer support apparently called my cell four time, but the phone never
rang. Gave up and deleted them. Good luck if you use them.
If you were happy with your
stimulus checks, it is that trillions in government spending that caused the
current inflation, putting a lot of money in the economy chasing the same
goods.
Make your case. But don’t over
embellish it; that weaken your case.
The Seagull Manager: Swoops in, squawks
loudly, shits on everything, flies away. ~ Anon, but may come from Dilbert.
“Pick any movement over the last
half century, and things will be worse after than they were before.” ~ William Deresiewicz, Excellent Sheep, great book
Never tell a fat guy to, “Trust his gut.”

Progressives: if they can’t convince, they coerce.
I hate filling out forms.
Muslims can put an end to “Islamophobia” by stopping
attacking and killing people who don’t see religion their way.
The people who want to fight “misinformation” on the
Internet are the same folks who say men can get pregnant. Right. Show me one.
Saying something is “exciting” does not make it
exciting.
“Loyalty without honor is nothing more than
conspiracy.” ~ LtCol Greg Johnson USMC, Ret.
At age 18, the Marines gave me an M-14
semi-automatic rifle and trained me to kill a man at 500 yards. Apparently they
thought I was mature enough. After I got out, I didn’t kill anyone.
When Muslims rape a girl, victim blaming is fine.
“Inside every progressive is a totalitarian
screaming to get out.” ~ David Horowitz
Democrats blame gas station
owners for high gas prices. Gas stations make less per gallon than the federal
government and less than many state governments.
“Rallying cry of this administration: Make America
Mediocre Again.”

Progressives used to say, “Question Authority.” Now
that they are authority, we should question it, especially the “authority” of
the media.
Have you noticed that “computer models” of the
weather, the pandemic, or global warming are invariably wrong?
English Leather has been my favorite
aftershave since high school. It’s quite expensive, so I have used it only on
special occasions, making a bottle last for years. When the bottle I was using
ran low, I splurged on an 8 oz bottle from Amazon. It didn’t look like or
smell; like English Leather. A Google search revealed they had changed the
formula a couple of years ago. Now I rate it below Old Spice. Will give the
bottle to Goodwill. Let the buyer beware.
“If you erase our borders, you erase our country.” ~
Tom Fitton, A Republic Under Assault.
“No white rat would flee his property because a
black rat had moved into the hole next door.” ~ James C. Condon, Semantics
and Communication

How the Militant Left Uses Fear

KDP unpublished my book, “Quotes for the Conservative Heart,” claiming that it had "low content." when I refuted that, they told me I'd have to start over with publication, which I did. While I was doing that, they must have realized their mistake and released the hold on my original book! Right now, both are on Amazon. Kindle remains unchanged.
I took the opportunity to make the cover more readable. Not as good as I would like, but text has to fit in the text boxes in their cover creator. Sigh.
Anyway, here is the new book. Content the same. ~Bob

Let non-citizens vote?
The people running NYC wanted to ensure their permanent domination of all elected offices in the city, and decided a great way to do that was to give voting rights to noncitizens. Most of whom they expect to vote Democrat. (Which may be largely true, but I don't know of any actual data to prove that.)

A Republic Under Assault
A Republic Under Assault by Tom Fitton, Judicial Watch
This book was published
in 23020, before the election, so is outdated only in that things have gotten
worse. Full discloser: I have never been a fan of Donald Trump. I voted third
party in 2016. I voted for Trump in 2020 only because I could see the border,
economic, energy, and foreign affairs disasters coming under Biden. I hope
Trump will not be the nominee of my party in 2024. But I cannot see how one can read the emails,
memos, and other documents obtained by Judicial Watch under the Freedom of
Information Act and not believe there was a conspiracy within the government to
smear and bring down Trump. Reading the material, I think Obama, Clinton, Biden
& son, and others belong in jail. If these allegations are untrue, they
would have sued Judicial Watch and Fitton. I suggest you read it and maker up
your own mind.
