Venezuela

Iran, Russia, and China's Central Role in the Venezuela Crisis | Joseph M. Humire at Gatestone Institute
So much for the Monroe Doctrine. It now goes without saying that Venezuela, formerly a jewel of South America, is a ruined country. It's easy to understand China's economic imperialism; they are sopping up control of energy sources and scarce essential metals all over the world and with their investments in infrastructure are creating much indebtedness of poorer countries. What is illuminated here is the nefarious collaboration of Venezuela's occupation by Cuba abetted by Russian arms, Iranian-Hezbollah training, and incredibly, involvement in Syria. Truly, Russia is Enemy #1, Iran #1a. What plots are being hatched in Venezuela by them? At this point, China is an adversary-competitor. The Chinese are way too sophisticated to have to use military force; for them a 21st century co-prosperity sphere is the way to go. Yours truly. --Larry Greenberg
