Dr. Moyar is a very distinguished historian, who understand international history and complexities far better than most of the so-called experts of the last decades. Here he comes down solidly on the reality of the recent past and how badly it worked out, and how changing to a different model is badly overdue. When Jimmy Carter said recently that "our friends no longer trust us and our enemies no longer fear us", that was as clear a summation of the terrible situation as one could ask for.
