Important political news you shouldn't miss

Update

General News and Comment

Worth Reading: Hillary and History. By Thomas Sowell
Excerpt: There are no sure things in politics, but Hillary Clinton is the closest thing to a sure thing to become the Democrats' candidate for president in 2016. This is one of the painful but inescapable signs of our time. There is nothing in her history that would qualify her for the presidency, and much that should disqualify her. What is even more painful is that none of that matters politically. Many people simply want “a woman” to be president, and Hillary is the best-known woman in politics, though by no means the best qualified. What is Hillary’s history? In the most important job she has ever held — Secretary of State — American foreign policy has had one setback after another, punctuated by disasters.

Hillary will take whatever position suits her interests at any point of time. By Don Calabrese
Excerpt: Hillary Clinton could save us all a lot of time by simply issuing the following statement: You’re wasting your time asking me my position on anything. I have no idea. Regardless of what I’ve ever said or done in the past, or what I may say today, what I may actually do in the future depends entirely on how I perceive my own self-interest at that moment. And since I have no idea what the situation might be if and when I have to take an action on anything, I have no idea what I might do. So, in answer to your question: I don’t know. And stop asking me.

Emails: Hillary Used iPad And Blackberry, Despite Previous Claim. By Derek Hunter
Excerpt: In the solicitation, Clinton mentioned that she was without Blackberry coverage or power after Tropical Storm Irene hit the East Coast. As a result, she switched to a “new iPad” for her email and wasn’t sure her emails were going through.

Hillary Clinton, campaign under fire for not taking stand on trade debate. By Ben Wolfgang
Excerpt: Hillary Rodham Clinton is under fire from all sides for refusing to take a stand in the trade debate that is consuming Washington, and her top campaign hands brushed aside or flat-out ignored questions on the topic during several high-profile media interviews Sunday. Mrs. Clinton, the Democratic party’s front-runner for the 2016 presidential nomination, has been virtually silent on whether President Obama should be granted Trade Promotion Authority (TPA), which would allow him to negotiate major trade deals and then submit them to Congress for a simple up-or-down vote. Mr. Obama’s broad trade package failed on Capitol Hill last week amid a Democratic revolt, though House Republican leaders plan to revive it this week.

More Hillary Clinton Benghazi Emails Revealed By Sharyl Attkisson
Excerpt: Only now—more than two-and-a-half years after the attacks—has the House Select Committee investigating Benghazi finally obtain additional, related emails exchanged through former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private server. Ironically, it is longtime Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal who provided the emails.

For-Profit Schools Target Vulnerable Vets, Give to Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton’s attempt to defend veterans highlights her hypocrisy. By Brent Scher
Excerpt: Hillary Clinton took aim at the for-profit education industry last week saying it lies to military veterans to boost profits, but the industry’s most predatory schools are Clinton Foundation donors.

IRS will have their back: Media Matters Founder: We Defend Hillary Clinton! By Patrick Howley
Excerpt: Media Matters For America founder David Brock admitted Monday that his nonprofit, tax-exempt organization specifically defends Hillary Clinton, a political candidate for office, from Republican criticism. Brock’s stunning admission calls into question the nonprofit status of his left-wing media monitoring organization.

Yawn: FBI Files Document Communism in Obama’s Senior Advisor
Excerpt: Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government. (A feature, not a bug. Probably why she got the job. ~Bob)

Excerpt: EMINENT DOMAIN The Supreme Court’s 2005 Kelo decision construes the Fifth Amendment to allow governments to force property owners off their land if a new tenant would mean increased tax revenue. Trump has more than once teamed up with municipalities in an attempt to gut property rights, most egregiously to push an elderly widow off the Atlantic City property she’d owned for 30 years, and which Trump wanted to turn into a limousine parking lot. It should be no surprise, then, that Trump told Neil Cavuto that he agrees with Kelo “100 percent.” (Yes, this guy is supposedly running for the nomination of the party of individual rights. --Jim Geraghty, Morning Jolt.

Worth Reading: What is Torture and Does It Work? By Tom Kratman
Excerpt: “That’s a no-brainer. Of course it’s a violation of international law, that’s why it’s a covert action. The guy is a terrorist. Go grab his ass.” ~ Former Vice President and Senator (D) Al Gore, on the question of “Extraordinary Rendition”2 Twenty or so years ago I used to amuse myself by calling various offices of the anti-personnel landmine ban movement and asking, “When are you people going to get around to banning pre-cast or castable explosives, waterproof containers, batteries, clothespins, conductive wire, and plastic eating utensils? When are you going to do something about hand grenades, shock and pressure sensitive chemical compounds, electric blasting caps, string, and thin wire. What about anti-vehicular mines with anti-handling devices? And refined metals? And rocks? And wood? Don’t you realize these things can harm children? Don’t you care?”3 I gave it up when I realized that the point was completely lost on them, that – profoundly smug in their certainty of their own inestimable virtue – they were incapable of even seeing the outlines of their own ignorance, let alone realizing how much their ignorance made them useless.4 Mines were just too icky for them to seriously think about. So is it, too, with ignorance, sometimes carefully cultivated ignorance, concerning torture. (Tom Kratman is a retired USA LtCol, an occasional contributor to this blog, and an outstand author of military science fiction, including the A Desert Called Peace series. http://www.amazon.com/Desert-Called-Peace-Carrera-Book-ebook/dp/B00B5HJOFY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426715332&sr=8-1&keywords=Peace+Kratman ~Bob)

Florida poised to authorize a bear hunt despite protests
Excerpt: Florida wildlife officials don't know how many black bears live in the state, but they say there are enough to justify a hunt. The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission on Wednesday is expected to authorize a hunt of the state's largest native land mammal for the first time in 21 years despite mounting opposition from animal-welfare activists who braved scorching temperatures Monday to protest at FWC's five regional offices. The Humane Society of the United States also delivered petitions to Gov. Rick Scott bearing signatures of more than 90,000 people against a hunt.

10 years later, here’s what happened to the land seized and sold to developers in a controversial Supreme Court case. By Benjamin Weingarten
Excerpt: Ilya Somin, Professor Law at George Mason University School of Law, adjunct scholar of the Cato Institute, and blogger at the essential Volokh Conspiracy has recently published the literal book on the Kelo case titled “The Grasping Hand: “Kelo v. City of New London” and the Limits of Eminent Domain.” On this tenth anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling, it bears noting what has happened to the property seized by the City of New London. Somin writes in his book: The only creatures making…use of…[the lots] in… intervening years have been…feral cats

SCOTUS and the Raisin Hope for Property Rights. By Dan Gilmore
Excerpt: Marvin Horne of Fresno, California, has been vindicated. Yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled 8-1 that if the Raisin Administrative Committee was going to take Horne’s raisins it needed to compensate the farmer. In Horne v. Department of Agriculture, Horne refused to give up his raisins to the Raisin Administrative Committee and the agency was fining him at the tune of $695,000. The committee is a New Deal-era program designed to control the supply of raisins so the prices remain artificially high. It would take a portion of farmers' grapes and either donate them to school lunch programs or sell them overseas. Farmers used to be compensated, but then the payout dwindled to nothing.

Fake News: Whoopi Goldberg and ‘The View’ Get Fooled by Fake Story About Christian Pastor (Update: ‘The View’ Apologizes). By Mike Opelka
Excerpt: During Monday’s episode of the ABC daytime talk show “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg and the crew were fooled by a fake news website that claimed pastor John Hagee of San Antonio’s Cornerstone Church wanted women prosecuted if they said “God” during sex. (I included the fake story in my last blog post--sorry. ~Bob)

Buchanan's Bill to Replace DD-214 With Veterans ID Card Passes Senate Without Opposition. By Kevin Derby
http://www.sunshinestatenews.com/story/buchanans-bill-replace-dd-214-veterans-id-card-passes-senate-without-opposition?utm_source=Constant%20Contact&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=News%20Excerpt: On Monday, the U.S. Senate amended and passed with unanimous consent a bill from a Florida congressman which ensures every veteran receives an ID card from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs without burdening taxpayers. The House passed the bill last month with 402 representatives backing it and no votes cast against it. U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Fla., introduced the Veterans ID Card Act earlier this year. Buchanan’s bill would ensure all veterans receive ID cards from the VA instead of just those who served 20 years in the armed forces or are seeking medical treatment for service-related wounds. In pushing his bill in recent months, Buchanan has noted veterans are forced to carry DD-214 paperwork, which contains sensitive information including Social Security numbers, and an ID card would be more convenient and would do a better job of keeping their personal information secure.

The Marine Hitchhikers. By Nate Jackson
Excerpt: Early in 2012, Barack Obama promised that a U.S. military with a smaller budget would be an asset. “Our military will be leaner,” he said, “but the world must know — the United States is going to maintain our military superiority with armed forces that are agile, flexible and ready for the full range of contingencies and threats.” How’s that working out? Not so good. The U.S. Navy has shrunk so much that the Marines are looking at the possibility of using foreign vessels to deploy to Europe or Africa.

Nevada's Common Core Turns into Huge Money Pit! By Onan Coca
Excerpt: A new, online standardized test designed to test Nevada schoolchildren on Common Core standards has been a huge fiasco in its first year, with the vast majority of students unable to complete the test. The failure could expose the state to federal sanctions.

Big Brother Fed Uses Biodata to Track School Lunch Choices
Excerpt: The school district already purchased biometric software to track students receiving free or reduced lunches. Now that federal money is being granted to give every student, regardless of household income, a free lunch on the taxpayers’ dime, everyone’s thumbprint will be scanned. The data, in turn, will be sent to the feds for “transparency” purposes, infuriated parents be damned.

Meet Kristin Beck, a transgender former Navy SEAL running for Congress. By Ben Terris
Excerpt: The first thing Lawrence Shaw noticed about the congressional candidate in his driveway were the medals — a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star with a “V” for valor, and a Joint Service Commendation decoration — clipped to her blazer. “Are you retired military?” Shaw asked, taking a break from his lawn work to walk over to the broad-shouldered woman. “Yeah, 20 years, Navy SEAL,” Kristin Beck said. She brushed back her long blond hair and showed him the silver pendant on her necklace, an eagle clutching a trident, anchor and pistol. ... That’s why she didn’t bring up gender issues as she walked through Shaw’s upper-middle-class black neighborhood in Maryland, seeking votes in her long-shot primary bid against Steny H. Hoyer, the second-most-powerful Democrat in the House of Representatives.

Excerpt: In 2003 the U.S. Congress was given the same intelligence brief on Iraq's Sadaam Hussein that George Bush was given. Intelligence agencies believed that Sadaam possessed weapons of mass destruction. Those reports were used to justify the invasion of Iraq. Democrats and Republicans were all for the war, including John Kerry and Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton. Then, as the political winds began to change, as Americans wearied of war and combat losses and war spending, Hillary and Kerry and the Dems began to back away...even claim they were never for the war...and blamed the whole mess on Bush. That's called "political whoring"...not having the fortitude and courage to stand by your political and moral decisions. A decade ago Harry Reid was the most virulent anti-illegal immigration advocate one could find in the Congress. He often stood up and railed against it on the Senate floor. Ten years later old Harry was trumpeting amnesty in order to win Hispanic votes. That's "political whoring."

The Right Takes Denmark
Excerpt: Here is some more pleasant international news to add to the Conservative Party’s success in Britain alongside the success of the center-right coalition in this year. After being out of power since 2011, the right wing bloc led by Lars Løkke Rasmussen has again captured seats in Denmark’s Folketing (Parliament). As with any country with more than two parties in its legislature, the task of building a government can be complicated, and in Denmark, it is no different. If anything, the differing political views of the parties that make up the right-wing “Blue Bloc” make this a particularly interesting case.

8 Ways to Spot a Gold Digger

Russia-Vietnam Ties Reinvigorated
Excerpt: The renewed Russian presence in Vietnam has predictably set the alarm bells ringing in the Pentagon, with the commander of the US Army in the Pacific confirming that Russian strategic bombers circling the massive American military base in Guam are being refuelled at Cam Ranh Bay. On March 11 Washington wrote to Hanoi, requesting that the Vietnamese authorities not assist Russian bomber flights in the Asia-Pacific. The Vietnamese reaction was to remain publicly silent. According to Phuong Nguyen of the Washington-based Center for Strategic & International Studies, “from the perspective of many Vietnamese officials who fought against the United States during the war, Moscow helped train generations of Vietnamese leaders and supported Hanoi during its decades of international isolation.”

China's factory activity shrinks again in June
Excerpt: Factory activity in the world's second largest economy, China, contracted for a fourth month in a row, but the sector did show signs of stabilising in June. The HSBC/Markit flash manufacturing purchasing managers' index (PMI) was at a three-month high of 49.6, up from 49.2 in May and beat forecasts of 49.4. But, the preliminary reading stayed below the 50 mark which separates contraction from expansion.

China, U.S. kick off annual high-level talks on deepening ties

China Is Challenging Superiority of U.S. Air Power: Pentagon
Excerpt: China is mounting a serious effort to challenge U.S. military superiority in air and space, forcing the Pentagon to seek new technologies and systems to stay ahead of its rapidly developing rival, Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work said Monday.
The Pentagon's chief operating officer told a group of military and civilian aerospace experts that China was "quickly closing the technological gaps," developing radar-evading aircraft, advanced reconnaissance planes, sophisticated missiles and top-notch electronic warfare equipment.

Bait: Japanese plane circles over China-claimed region in South China Sea. By Manuel Mogato
Excerpt: A Japanese military patrol plane circled over disputed parts of the South China Sea on Tuesday at the start of an exercise with the Philippine military that has irked China. According to Japanese and Philippine officials, the Japanese P3-C Orion surveillance plane, with three Filipino guest crew members, flew at 5,000 feet (1,524 m) above the edge of Reed Bank, an energy-rich area that is claimed by both China and the Philippines. It was accompanied by a smaller Philippine patrol aircraft.

Gun News

CNN: Charleston Shooter Purchased Gun Legally From Gun Store. By Awr Hawkins
Excerpt: One key part of this horrific scheme — the weapon — came in April, when Roof bought a .45-caliber handgun at a Charleston gun store, the two law enforcement officials told Perez and Bruer from CNN. ... CNN Money noted that buying a gun from a gun store entails passing a background check, which means Roof “apparently met the legal criteria.” It also means Roof joins a long list of other attackers who got their guns via background checks as well.

“Bring Your Guns to Church”: It Was the Law. By Joel McDurmon
Excerpt: Imagine the following scenario: At church this Sunday, while reviewing the list of announcements and upcoming events for your church, your pastor adds, “Oh, and don’t forget: on Sundays we have our regular target practice. Make sure to bring your guns. Make sure to bring your pieces to church.” Absurd, right? Not so. It used to be the American way. For example, a 1631 law in Virginia required citizens to own firearms, to engage in practice with them, and to do so publicly on holy days. It demanded that the people “bring their pieces to the church.”

11 People Shot In Detroit Yesterday; Crickets From Gun Control Advocates, Because It’s Only Detroit
Excerpt: In two separate incidents, 11 people were shot in Detroit on Saturday, 10 of which were at the same location for a block party. Of the 11 shot, one person died from their injuries. Asst. Chief Steve Dolunt said that it was a miracle no children were shot during the incident at the block party.

Excerpt: The reader who calls himself “Ohio” sends us a link to a story from Dallas, Texas about a couple who were leaving Benihana after a meal. They were stopped by a fellow who asked for a light, then pulled a mask over his face while pulling his firearm. Unfortunately for him, his intended victim had a gun, too, a brief firefight ensued and thief-guy was DRT (Dead Right There), his intended victim is expected to recover from his injuries

Missed out on White Privilege: ‘Black’ Texas Woman Makes an ‘Unbelievable’ Discovery About Her Race After 70 Years. By Jon Street
Excerpt: Byrd began searching for her biological family in 2013 after the loss of her adoptive mother, Edwinna Wagner. It was then that Byrd found out she had been living as someone else for decades. Byrd’s birth name was Jeanette Beagle and her biological parents were Earl and Daisy Beagle, both of whom were white. But Byrd never knew her true race because her adoptive parents never told her and she was too young to remember her biological parents or her four biological siblings.

Charleston and the Confederate Flag Battle. By Nate Jackson
Excerpt: Of course, given the prominence of South Carolina in the presidential primary season, the Leftmedia gleefully makes the Confederate flag an issue for Republicans every presidential cycle. But that’s awfully odd since Democrats are the ones who raised it at the South Carolina capitol in 1962. Democrats are the party of Jim Crow and segregation — the ones in KKK robes who sullied the banner of Gen. Robert E. Lee’s Army of Northern Virginia with racial overtones. Democrats Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter campaigned with the flag before it was uncoil to do so. Democrats push for an ever-higher minimum wage, which all too often leaves blacks unemployed and enslaved on the Left’s deliberately institutionalized urban poverty plantations.

Hillary Clinton Not Talking About ’92 Clinton-Gore Confederate Campaign Button. By Fred Lucas
Excerpt: It’s unclear if the Clinton-Gore Confederate flag campaign button that has been prominent on social media was an official part of their 1992 presidential campaign.
And Hillary Clinton isn’t clarifying, nor is her team responding to questions about her husband honoring the flag as Arkansas governor in 1987.

Then, not now: When the Confederate flag flew at Harvard. The campus protested when a student hung the flag from her dorm window in 1991. But the school upheld it as free speech. By Carlos Lozada
Excerpt: Since the mid-2oth century, college campuses have been a site of disputes over displays of the Confederate battle flag — whether in dorm rooms, protests or sporting events. While many of these fights have occurred in traditional Old South schools, such as the University of Mississippi, historian John M. Coski explains that “the most celebrated campus stand in defense of the Confederate flag occurred not in the South but in the institution considered the very soul of Yankeedom and the polar opposite of Ole Miss: Harvard University.” (Universities used to be for protecting free speech, especially obnoxious speech you disagreed with. Today, political correctness tops free speech every time. ~Bob)

A Dinosaur Name in ‘Jurassic World’ is So ‘Racist’ That the Movie Has Come Under Fire. By Maddie Bradsher
Excerpt: The uproar started when moviegoers began complaining about one of the dinosaur species in the movie called Pachycephalosaurus: ... According to Focus News, the “Pachy” nickname was used four times throughout the movie. But in the U.K., the word is seen as an ethnic slur used to described people from Pakistan or southern Asia in general:

Excerpt: Mark Halperin, Bloomberg Politics managing editor, apologized to his “Republican sources” on the air Monday, saying he took the White House at its word when officials claimed Jonathan Gruber played only a minor role in the crafting of Obamacare. His apology came on the heels of the release of newly uncovered emails that show Gruber’s influence on the law was much greater than the White House admitted.

Most illegal immigrants from border surge skipped court date after release, records show. By William La Jeunesse
Excerpt: But a year later, new data obtained exclusively by Fox News shows the policy isn't stopping the influx. Not only are illegal immigrant women and children continuing to cross the border in large numbers, but the majority charged with crimes aren't even showing up for court.

"You're Greener than Gore" News

Obama forcing military to measure Arctic ice levels. By Ben Wolfgang
Excerpt: Even as the U.S. military struggles to contain the Islamic State and deals with other terrorist threats across the globe, President Obama increasingly is recruiting the Pentagon to advance his sweeping climate change agenda. Mr. Obama’s Defense Department calls global warming a true national security threat and has begun instituting a host of environmental measures, ranging from building clean energy projects at military installations to the use of expensive green fuels in planes.

Important: Brutal: Nuclear Expert Demolishes Obama's Central Argument for Iran Deal. By Guy Benson
Excerpt: Today, Prof. Alan Kuperman offers another entry in that category, scrutinizing an element of the deal that many have simply taken for granted. President Obama, while essentially conceding that Iran will become a threshold nuclear state under the terms of the deal (a jarring paradigm shift from his previously-stated stance), assures us that at least the agreement would expand the regime's so-called nuclear "breakout" time horizon from a few months to a full year. Kuperman applies his expertise, runs the numbers, and calls even this wafer-thin presidential justification into serious question:

Excerpt: President Obama announced he will send 450 ground troops to “train” Iraqi forces, but haven’t we already spent $25 billion in taxpayer money on a new Iraqi military? After over a decade of war in Iraq, we do know this: The Kurds are willing to fight, and are one of our strongest and most consistent allies in the region. Sending two additional company-sized units into a quagmire is unlikely to impart to Iraqi forces the will to fight once and for all.

Encouraging kidnapping: White House to announce US won't prosecute hostages' families who pay ransom
Excerpt: In a softening of longstanding policy, the Obama administration will tell families of Americans held by terror groups that they can communicate with captors and even pay ransom without fear of prosecution -- part of a broad review of U.S. hostage guidelines that will be released Wednesday. (Good news for terrorist finances. ~Bob)

Sickening new ISIS video shows caged prisoners lowered into a swimming pool and drowned, shot with an RPG and blown up with explosive-filled 'necklaces'
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3135913/Sickening-new-ISIS-video-shows-caged-prisoners-lowered-swimming-pool-drowned-shot-RPG-blown-explosive-filled-necklaces.html#ixzz3duqOUqL2
Excerpt: Vile jihadis fighting for the Islamic State in Iraq have brutally murdered five prisoners by locking them in a metal cage and lowering them into a swimming pool. Filmed in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul, the sickening seven minute long video uses expensive underwater cameras to film the terrified men as they sink below the surface with no hope of escape. Shortly afterwards the cage is lifted back out of the water, with the dying men - who are understood to have been accused of spying - seen foaming at the mouth as they lie motionless on the floor of the cage, piled on top of one another.

Islamic Hate for the Christian Cross
Excerpt: Last May in Italy, a Muslim boy of African origin beat a 12-year-old girl during school because she was wearing a crucifix around her neck. The African schoolboy, who had only started to attend the school approximately three weeks earlier, began to bully the Christian girl-"insulting her and picking on her in other ways all because she was wearing the crucifix"-before he finally "punched the girl violently in the back."

Soldier from Operation Protective Edge responds to UN report: 'We have paid for morality in blood'
Excerpt: The night before the ground incursion, a Shin Bet officer came to us and explained that there was a large civilian population in the direction that we were headed. Because of this, we did not enter Shejaiya at that time, although that was what we had practiced and it was the correct tactical maneuver. After consideration, we went the following day in the anticipated direction, where Hamas gunmen were awaiting our arrival. Hamas understood our strategies, and how each of our operations had humanitarian and moral considerations, and because of this they were ready to receive us. They had set up observation posts in the surrounding areas, and they anticipated our arrival because of the previous decision not to enter into a civilian population. On the first night we went in, we were attacked. Five of our soldiers were killed and 20 others were injured.

'ISIS enforces Ramadan fast by crucifying two children'
Excerpt: Two boys under the age of 18 were crucified by ISIS in the streets of the Syrian city of al-Mayadin for not observing the laws of Ramadan, watchdog group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Monday. The children, who were charged with the crime of "not fasting on Ramadan," had placards around their necks announcing their crime was committed "with no religious justification," The Independent reported.

Bonfire of the Vulgarians: Middle East Studies in Decline. By Cinnamon Stillwell
Excerpt: Earlier this year, a firestorm erupted when Connecticut College philosophy professor Andrew Pessin's 2014 Facebook comments, in which he compared Hamas in Gaza to a "wild pit bull . . . chained in a cage, regularly making mass efforts to escape," were deemed "racist" and "dehumanizing" by student activists, colleagues, and administrators alike. Meanwhile, Middle East studies academics regularly emit commentary that is unambiguous in its bigotry, tastelessness, and vulgarity, to nary a peep. Not coincidentally, the vitriol is directed at targets academe finds politically unpopular: Israel, pro-Israel Jews, and anti-Islamists. A glaring example occurred in late 2014, when University of California, Irvine (UCI) history professor Mark LeVine posted an expletive-laden, unhinged rant on Facebook calling for the destruction of Israel:

Brave Man: Nasser al Qasabi branded an "apostate" over new show mocking ISIS, religion
Excerpt: The Saudi and Arab community on Twitter has gone crazy over prominent Saudi comedian actor Nasser al Qasabi's satirical TV series "Selfie," but in particular over the episode in which he mocks ISIS, according to Al Quds Al Arabi. Viewers of the show, which Nasser dubbed as a "social comedy with a message," were in two minds about the way he portrayed the terrorist group and made fun of their head-chopping antics, sex jihad, employing jihadists, amongst other things. (The leftist media will doubtless brand him an "Islamophobe" and will say he "provoked" any retaliation. ~Bob)

Arrest hell...Iranian Ex-President Says U.S. Seeks Arrest Of Hidden Imam. By Golnaz Esfandiari
Excerpt: Iran's former hard-line President Mahmud Ahmadinejad has reportedly said that the United States is working to arrest the Hidden Imam, who according to Shi'ite belief went into hiding in the 10th century and will reappear to bring justice to Earth.
Ahmadinejad made the comments in a speech to a group of clerics marking the start of the holy Muslim month of Ramadan, according to a transcript posted on June 21 on the website Dolatebahar.com, which is run by his supporters. (...somebody get a wooden steak. ~Bob)

  1. As to the fake story... How is the reasonable person to know, anymore, what's fake? We live in an upside world in an inside out country headed by a fake president. And that's just for starters. What's fake is real and what's real is fake. Go ahead, yell "God" during sex. Yell "God" doing the laundry; mowing the lawn; cooking; washing the dishes; etc. Hell, everybody yell "God" every waking moment - maybe He'll hear us and unf-ck this fake mess.
