and remains. The means of control are all there, secret police, compliant
courts, warrantless arrests with people held for long periods without charges
being filed, beatings if you're lucky, and public execution if you're not. It's
a very sad place, terrible for those living there who long for some kind of
freedom, and dangerous to everyone else in that part of the world and even
those further away. I wonder how it will play out in the long run, but am
afraid in the end there will be some kind of awful disaster that will have far
