Generations of Valor

This 2004 photo shows Pearl Harbor veteran Houston James embracing Marine SSgt. Mark Graunke, Jr., a member of an ordinance disposal team who lost his left eye, left hand, two fingers on his right hand and his right leg while defusing a bomb in Iraq in 2003.

Do you live your life so as to deserve the sacrifices of such men? Do your elected officials?

  1. From a retired Marine:

    Allah Hu Akhbar

The last thing our young soldiers at Fort Hood heard while they lay on the cold concrete as their blood flowed onto the floor and their lives ebbed from their bodies was Allah Hu Akhbar. The same Allah Hu Akhbar as planes slammed into buildings in New York City and Washington DC. The same Allah Hu Akhbar as a United Airlines plane disintegrated into the ground in Pennsylvania. The same Allah Hu Akhbar the United States Marines of the Eighth Marine Regiment heard when a truck plowed into their barrack in Beirut, Lebanon in nineteen eighty two. The commonality of all of these events is an Islamic terrorist communicating his hatred for anything emblematic of western civilization, no matter how benign or good.

Incredibly, the president of the United States, the commander in chief, the very man who’s prime directive is the safety of the United States and its citizens, is attempting to minimize a terrorist attack into a common crime.

Now we learn that the terrorist was being monitored and watched by the FBI. The FBI had intercepted emails intended for Al Qaeda from the terrorist Hasan.

The terrorist Hasan is also known to have consorted with known Islamic radical Imam’s here in USA and abroad, all under the watchful eye of the FBI and likely Janet Napalitano at Department of Homeland Security.

Now we have General George Casey, the Chief of Staff of the US Army, saying that he does not want to jeopardize the celebration of diversity within the US Army.

All of aforementioned is the malignancy that is slowly creeping throughout the nation’s capitol and now creeping through our armed forces. The president of the United States, political leaders, apparently more than a few military leaders, and the talking heads of our apologist media all now want us to believe that what we witnessed several days ago was not what we witnessed. You really do wonder what goes through some people’s minds and how easily they can distort reality and delude themselves into thinking almost anything.

What is absolutely terrifying is that the people charged with our protection do not want to appear insensitive or judgmental or anything else that may appear remotely politically incorrect, so they are content with allowing our enemies to point a dagger at our collective hearts. America has become a nation of people fearful of the political correctness police.

Political correctness has swept neighborhood meetings, the workplace, social gatherings, political debate, now the armed forces of the United States of America and common sense and reasonableness has gone out the window. Americans are now incapable of drawing a line in the sand and “call’n em like they see em”. Is that really what the folks of America really want? Is that what we were taught? What has happened to us? Really.

    What has happened to America?
